Here we go bois, I see volume coming in.
2018-10-01 11:35 | Report Abuse
My goals:
Level 1: Open 1.27-1.28 (Achieved)
Level 1: 50k lot by 10.00a.m. (Achieved)
Level 2: Hold steady by 1.29 at 11a.m. (Achieved)
Level 2: Volume 250k lot and above by 11a.m. (Achieved)
Level 2: Test 1.31 (Achieved)
Level 3: Hold steady at 1.31 by 1H.
Level 3: Volume 400k lot by end of 1H.
Level 4: Open 2H at 1.31.
Level 4: Test 1.32 with 500k volume.
*Assumption - Brent at 83$ Per Barrel
*Assumption - No adverse news for O&G industry and company / group
*Risks - Buying appetite dies down, immediate holders fail to support 1.3/0.5
*Current trend: Healthy buying appetite, shareholders holding out with cautious outlook upwards. But they seem ready to dispose if 2H doesn't continue upward trend.

It'll depend on how 1H ends first, I wanna set a realistic goal for myself and let others have a reference too :) Hope this helps those who's interested.

WC Shooting upwards like nobody's business. I think 0.49 breaks soon.
2018-09-29 21:15 | Report Abuse
@teoct Yeah I agree with you, it shouldn't impact PSC between nation and HPB unless they are forced to sign another new agreement. This in turn would mean that there's a heck lot of changes to the O&G industry in Malaysia. Even if this changes are to take place, the drafting of such thing would take some time (at least 1Q) I think before it would be implemented just because the sheer size of the impact it would cause.
Meanwhile, brent closed healthily. Let's see what Monday brings. I think will inch upwards again because this time round there's alot of time for investors/trader to digest the oil price news and decide if they want to come join the boat. I think some aggressive funds might come in as well if the risk is worth the bet.

FYI, if break 1.26, really might fly. Don't be scared. Hold on to it.
2018-09-28 15:10 | Report Abuse
Testing 1.26 with lower volume, will the resistance break?
2018-09-27 00:21 | Report Abuse
For today, I don't think it will hit limit up, I think mostly will behave like today. But a notch down on the magnitude. Either +1 intensity or time for a dip. I personally believe will be -0.02 - +0.02.
Open: 1.25
Low: 1.21
High: 1.26
Average: 1.25
Close: 1.25
Volume: 70m shares
Brent crude has some uncertainties but hovers around 80$, apart from oil price there's not much news to react to. But there's two points I'd like to highlight and monitor:
1. Fed rate hike.
2. OPEC Basket - Hiked +2%, indicating that OPEC not really fond of reacting to Trump's comments and they gonna just do what they think is right.

@trythis That makes sense, I didn't thought of it that way. Thanks for pointing it out!
I think mother share can close 1.23/1.24 today, whereas WC can close around 0.465. Fingers crossed.

On a side note, I am very surprised that WC is more steady than the mother share.
2018-09-26 15:04 | Report Abuse
1.23 broke, let's see it will hold at 1.23 or test 1.26?
From what I see, either someone with big fund bought in or lots of buyers pump 1.24.
2018-09-26 10:20 | Report Abuse
But not taking your eyes off the possible level down, whereby if selling pressure is back it might press down the road block levels from 1.23 > 1.22/1.21, or 1.26 > 1.25/1.24.
This is assuming that the buy level is holding strong at 1.19 and 1.2, and 0.46 for WC.

My 2cents, not prediction / forecast of any kind. No graphs / or technical, just piecing up puzzles. No future calling or whatsoever as well, just plain based on market reaction.
If tomorrow can open 1.19, hold steady at 1.23 in first half with at least 25m shares, then second half can test 1.26, where I believe will be the 2 heavy road blocks, if break 1.26, then I really have no idea how high it can fly.

Let's see.

@derrtan I agree, sort of used to it. North Korea same tune different song. Just that China is his arch-nemesis. Cannot let go.
But its true that OPEC can affect price, but not control it entirely.

Assumption:
/brent = Hold steady at 82$
/No sudden news, same applies for similar counters (no bad news from Reach/Sapura/etc in terms of sudden QR announcement)
Justification:
- Volume has been high over this 2 trading days.
- Tomorrow is wednesday, this is when most steady investors / traders come out after dust settles, this applies to large funds as well.
- Looking at trade history, lots of contra has been flushed out. Price has been pressured down relatively often by some invisible force as other counters enjoyed freeflow movement, while heavy selling kept piled at 1.12/1.13 for yesterday and 1.16/1.17 today.
Concern:
- Traders might take profit or large funds could push higher to cause panic, causing small buyers to rush in only to drop a fork at second half.
- Hibiscus may benefit big time if China decides not to buy from US but look towards smaller corporations like our flower here. But if there's any such news or hope, all those aren't in the boat you're gonna cry big time.
That's my 2cents, do feel free to correct me. I appreciate similar context - constructive criticisms. But not childish bullshits. If you wanna bash, feel free to move on to other counters, I appreciate your effort to talk me off but I am responsible for my decisions, not you.

Thank you in advance for your selfless effort to help others, but people will be people, so you may excuse yourself from this counter and move on to the next :)

@Maurice1668 If you sell cause of monopoly issue, think twice which company is competant enough to compete with tm
> TimeCom with their own backbone.
> TM need to open to all rival and area, which includes TimeCom which TM previously lock them out from.
> Every rival can rent from TM and TM need to oblige, difference is pricing and agreement. TimeCom doesn't have to do so because they built it on their own.
Stock market after all is stock market. Willing seller, willing buyer, all is norm. Buy lowest as you can, sell highest as you are comfortable. No one can force you.

Ain't bad at all. It will just keep rising especially if this revenue is brought about by recurring income.
2018-05-12 02:56 | Report Abuse
On top of that, now that the government has changed, there is a good chance Timecom can expand into landed residential / commercial highrise which was predominantly monopolized by certain parties. Even if only open tender is practiced, I'm very sure that it will open up lots of revenue stream for Timecom too.
2018-05-12 02:54 | Report Abuse
@yikwei91 To be honest, I'm pretty sure TM's comments / reviews are far worst in terms of percentage / ratio compared to Timecom. And I for one believe, Facebook is one of the places where customers lash out if their requests / expectations not met.
I am one proud user of Timecom. Their internet service (KL Area, Penang Area) on high-rise has been a breeze. Low Ping, No packet loss. I've been using their service since 2012 in 6 different locations, and their service only went down 3 times IN TOTAL. During their downtime, customer service was quick to resolve it, technical only went offline for less than 1 day. Payments has been a quick and easy too.
So I don't get what is the fuss about their 'bad reviews'. I can tell you that even after 8 months in a old condo (where there's TM/Maxis/Celcom), people still have to wait for their internet application cuz their ports are FULL. New condo where I am staying need to wait 3 months cuz the port is FULL. That tells you alot about the company's recurring income.
Whereas if you look at the fundamentals, their recurring income has been growing healthily, that's only taking into account no surpluses from other segment like AIMS and Undersea cable networks. I for one, trust that this company has far better future ahead.
