该公司发文告表示，集团主要从事智能手机流动增值服务，但碍于市场竞争激烈，无力改善财务表现，为此集团考量医疗领域前景后，计划多元化业务至分销和销售快筛组和健康业务。

“医疗保健业务料贡献集团净资产或净利逾25%，因此公司将召开股东特大寻求股东批准业务多元化计划。”

随后，万通科技建议将现有10股股票整合成1股，再以整合后1股配6送3比例，发售7亿9437万4098股附加股，以及派送最多3亿9718万7049张凭单，附加股发售价和凭单行使价将由董事部稍后决定。

假设附加股发售价为10仙，届时将筹得最多7943万7000令吉，其中1000万令吉用来扩充快筛组分销和销售业务、5600万令吉融资健康业务，另1243万7000令吉作为营运资本。

最后，万通科技指出，公司在2017年11月完成融资7620万令吉的附加股计划，并有意运用剩余的750万令吉来2022年11月9日前收购新办公楼或合适产业，但受到行动管制令影响，以及财务和商业考量，决定寻求股东批准延长期限36个月。
