Are u a swing traders or value Investor?
It's for traders, it depends on your holding strength...days, months n 52 weeks.
PIVOT is an inflection point...the highest n the lowest price... within a range...like #52Weeks...plus average closing price. Divided by 3.
It's rather a range...or approximately pivoting point.
U have to judge the business catalyst...bullish or bearish.
Anyway...Mr. Market is unpredictable.

As Capital A’s total issued share capital at RM8.73 billion, comprising 4.25 billion ordinary shares, the distribution shares are expected to be allocated at a ratio of 397 new AAG shares for every 1,000 shares held.

Following these transactions, Capital A is expected to retain around 18.39% or 672.5 million of the enlarged issued shares of AAG, assuming the RM1 billion private placement.

The restructuring endeavours to achieve positive shareholders’ equity.

After the issuance of warrants and placement, AAG aims to reduce its share capital from RM4.05 billion to RM100 million.

This reduction will involve cancelling paid-up share capital that exceeds available assets, thereby eliminating accumulated losses totalling RM3.27 billion.

In the case of Capital A, with no conversion of outstanding redeemable convertible unsecured Islamic debt securities (RCUIDS) and warrants after the proposed distribution, share capital is projected to decrease by RM2.2 billion to RM6.46 billion and shareholders’ equity will turn positive at RM492.8 million.

If all outstanding RCUIDS and warrants are exercised, the projected shareholders’ equity would amount to RM1.67 billion following the proposed distribution and disposal of AAB. Meanwhile, Kenanga Investment Bank Bhd (Kenanga Research) has highlighted that the anticipated gains from the divestment of AAGL and AAB amount to RM4.7 billion and RM6.1 billion, respectively.

This collective gain of RM10.8 billion is projected to offset the negative shareholder equity of RM10.5 billion as of Dec 31, 2023, effectively aiding the company in exiting the PN17 status.

SINGAPORE (AP) — China’s C919 single-aisle jet made its international debut at the Singapore Airshow, attracting masses of visitors and hundreds of orders, but analysts say it still has a long way to go before it can compete with aircraft from market leaders Boeing and Airbus.

The Commercial Aircraft Corp. of China –- also known as COMAC — has received over 1,000 orders for the jet, mostly from Chinese airlines. A lack of international certification means the aircraft cannot operate commercially in most countries unless they recognize certifications by China’s civil aviation regulator.

Over the course of last week’s airshow, which drew over nearly 120,000 trade and public visitors, the C919 performed fly-pasts, allowing visitors to see the jet in action. Its only previous foray outside mainland China was to Hong Kong in December.

“It’s quite symbolic and a major milestone in that push by China to become considered, alongside Airbus and Boeing, for commercial aircrafts,” said Brendan Sobie, an independent aviation analyst based in Singapore.

One way of interpreting this dichotomy: The market assigns a lower valuation to AA, because investors have concerns about the its ability to sustain growth. AA just reported the profit, for a publicly traded company, and growth tends to slow down as a company becomes larger over time. Besides, nearly 90% of total revenues came from the airlines segment in the last quarter, so service concentration is a significant risk.

I personally believe the market is overestimating these risks, as AA has the brand differentiation, human talent, and competitive strength to continue delivering substantial growth in the years ahead.
For this reason, AA looks like an attractive investment to me, and I am planning to hold my AA stock for the long haul.
