The share movement seems to mimic Iris ie play the share until it hits the targetted PP price + 5%, and then you will see a selldown (in Iris, the selling started from 61sen down to 49.5sen yesterday with expectations that it will continue its downward momentum to 45 - 46sen before stabilising).

This counter may still have some fundamental value but I would personally take a position only if it retraces at least 50% of the recent upward move from RM 1.62 ie in the price range from RM 1.80 to 1.83. If the price weakens further because of the ongoing correction in the US markets, you could see the stock retracing to 1.70 (50dma).

There is a reason for the MD to sell and that is to lock in profit from the recent price rally, which is obviously quite artificial.

Of course, looking at the comments posted by forumners in this thread, I think that most of us here are holding the mother share, haha!!

On my end, I think that the majority shareholder (Chew) sold the warrants to firstly, finance his mother share purchase and secondly, to release to interested parties the WA as a trading block.

If you were monitoring the WA last week during the volume and price spike, you would have seen very determined buying ie someone was trying to stay ahead of retail buying.

So, it is very likely that the WA will continue to outpace the mother share when the stock starts moving in the next two weeks.

Only positives are the PP at 51sen and low volume selling. Possible that it will follow lower bollinger band which has a downward slope and trade down to 46sen.

Alex - the TA analysis done by matrixcool, not me. just adding my own observations as I have been daytrading recently.

Since the counter hit a high of 2.91, it has been consolidating with very visible and strong support around 2.75. The technicals have improved over the last 2 days - it should be ready to move up strongly to break the current high of 2.91. matrixcool says that if it breaches 2.91, the TP is around 3.20.

If there are additional good news like MB transfer, good 1st quarter results and of course the rumored bonus issue, then it can trade upwards strongly from 3.20 as it will then be in uncharted territory.

Perhaps iWarrants is correct - the operators simply cannot dislodge any significant WB shares from current retail holders; therefore cannot start the frying process.

Even if it shows a bearish reversal, there can still be a lot of bull traps. Do trade cautiously - if unable to take the volatility, better to look at Mpay WA or KNM WA.

One of madiba's parameters just occurred - director acquiring significant amount of mother shares at a relatively high price (15million shares at 29sen - to be used as a trading block?). The director also disposed 20million WA at 18sen (to be used as a trading block by others?).

Note that all the above is just speculation but I am certainly taking delivery of all MPay stock that I purchased over the last 2 days even though it is slightly higher than today's prices.

Well, well!! I'm sure all of us would like to see this counter move up strongly whether due to FA or TA reasons (OTB says FA + TA will be best).

At the moment, there are a lot of unknowns - why did one director sell a large portion of his mother shares while the other sold all her warrants (you should see what happened to XDL when the major shareholder sold all his warrants).

Why hasn't any 3rd party surfaced as a substantial shareholder even though the last few sales by Ngu were married deals?

Why haven't any announcements been made on the company's efforts in trying to procure a significant share of the tele towers announced in the budget last year?

Without some clarity on the above it is perhaps a bit tough to rate this stock as a FA counter. So, it will be necessary to look at the technicals to see if there is a bearish reversal in trend so that both TA and FA players will benefit.

If tomorrow a strong white candle forms, then can see rally continuing all the way to 38sen before consolidating.

2 dojis formed over the last 2 days. Can also see from buy/sell volumes that there is very strong buying support at 2.75 and the dojis confirm the strong support at 2.75.
