As long as EPF keeps throwing TNB, the shares will keep dropping. When they stop selling the price will recover.

NTA 21.6c, consensus Target Price 29c, loss making businesses now sold off, production of the huge new Gloves facility already started with new lines being added in the next couple of months. I'm not in any hurry to sell. I will be patient and wait this out.

At least EPF are seem to be taking a break for their constant dumping of Tenaga. If they can stay away from selling (if) there is a good change that Tenaga will quickly find a bottom and then come back up as EPFs selling of large numbers of shares every day was the big cause of the drop.

LossAversion.. When EPF is selling a lot of shares each day and there are not enough buyers the price drops. This has been going on for the last couple of months, the price was above 10.00. When EPF sells and there are enough buyers to absorb then price would stabilize and stay flat. Adversely if there are more buyers than sellers price will go up.
A free lesson in supply and demand for you.

Malaysian Newspapers are a very pitiful lot. One of the biggest scandal's since Najibs shocking theft and we have not been abele to find even one investigative journalism article on SDs accounts and declared assets, are they real or not? Only read nonsense articles I assume written by school girls n boys, like this mornings pathetic Edge article suggesting we all close eyes and let it be.

1.6 Bil in Bonds due to be repaid in a few months time, no audited accounts, an overdue interest payment of millions, a default credit rate of C! Who in their right mind would take this heap of dung private?

I read the Edge article suggesting Bursa should lift the suspension on SD and in doing so allowing the massive perpetuation of a possible criminal fraud. I've no idea how the Editor allowed it to be printed and promoted in the Edge. Just goes to show these guys have no idea how the markets works and how investors rely on Bursa policing public companies to ensure fair and transparent information that can be relied upon. The Edge article is irresponsible and well, just plain dumb.

If they did exist, were they with real parties or just paper companies using Post Office box addresses and some untraceable people in India?

I'm sure they can maintain dividends if not then down for a few months, so be it. Shifting overseas with the RM so low is risky forex bet, and also its hard to find any blue chip overseas with 6-7% yield, 1.5 - 2% maybe, 7-8% near impossible.
Malaysian stock market is down covered in in the political mud so Malaysian stocks have a huge discount to real value. Bargains can be had.

Tenaga is a good stock, but its depressed due to EPFs constant selling large volumes. Tenaga cannot rise again until EPF stops selling, but when they do I expect it to rise quickly from the ashes. I'm not selling, I will sit back and enjoy my dividends.

I agree with Value Investor Coo1eo, I also think Burser is undervalued, maybe not RM10 for a while, but by a good margin over current prices, maybe RM 8.50 in the nearer term. Keep in mind that Burser is a real company, with real earnings, real profits, real dividends. Its hard to find companies like this on the KLSE. I own shares, they are safe, so I'm not selling them. I sleep well and I look forward to my next dividend from Bursa and I'm sure that the dividends will grow well ahead of inflation over coming years. This is not a stock I worry about, nor get overly concerned with the ups and downs. Cheers.

SD cant even pay for a 25 million Ringgit office building they bought. As such they have just lost their deposit.
How about the 1.5 billion in Bonds coming due shortly? You think SD can pay even the interest? Such a default will not go unnoticed. Malaysia will make news on CNN, BBC, and other channels, and this news has tasty tones of corruption, fraudulent accounting, Politically connected, con men with Royal titles, two of the big three Auditors being sued and not to mention Bursa also being sued! It will make international headlines for days. All very very messy and sad. it may make Malaysia No.1 in the news for all the wrong reasons on top of the 1MBD disaster. Sadly a big Bond default by a Malaysian company and the stink of corruption surrounding it will negatively impact all Malaysian honest companies trying to refinance or issue bonds.
Bond money available to Malaysian Companies may dry up, and certainly interest rates will rise on perceived risk. It may cause other innocent companies to be unable to refinance and cause further bond defaults. MOF better keep an eye on this, this is how markets collapse. Just look across the water to China to see the impact of the smell of a default.
Bye bye SD, and bye bye 100% of SH money.
SCIB shareholders you think SCIB can fund ongoing commitments, your shares now worthless never mind 10c.
Hello lengthy jail time for some Directors and for sure legal claims against them for failing to govern, failing to inform, knowingly allowing misleading statements and remaining silent in the face of clear evidence thus breaching fiduciary responsibilities causing causing massive losses for some.

No body should have been caught by surprise. Busa made very public warnings, and gave a deadline for SD to publish the report. SD failed to do so and Bursa then had no choice but to suspend SDs shares. The problem may be that there may be very damming things in the report that would send someone to jail! Better not to release and to be suspend, and sooner or later delisted. Sue everyone to build smoke screen and hope no one makes a report which will allow the mafia in blue to raid his pockets. Its not him suing, its SD, he is using Shareholders remaining in cash on lawyers, not a cent of his own money. He is scared of having to spend time in an unpleasant place as guest of the taxpayer's for many years and of loosing his expensive titles. SCIB now also suspended. No doubt he will now waste SCIBs remaining cash on lawyers also. Hopeless. Absolutely pointless waste of shareholders money. He should just crawl off to Bukit Aman and turn himself in.

Ieno: No, all you have to do is show you bought your shares relying on the statements made. The Directors are personally liable for statements they make. No need to show who you bought from. If you claim you bought because of their assurances then they must attend Court and prove they did not know, then they will have to explain why they did not know and if they did not know why they claimed they did. Very inconvenient for them, and rather embarrassing. If I was the Director I'd pay you the 5k and settle.

If you lose money can file a claim in the small claims Court :
https://judiciary.kehakiman.gov.my/portals/
The cost to file is only RM 8.00 and you cannot use a lawyer and neither can the persons you name in your suit (chairman and director's) so it will not cost you more then time and parking fees. The parties you name in your suit must attend personally or risk a summery judgement against them. They cannot use their lawyers, they must attend personally.
So its a simple matter of filing your self (just follow the instruction on the site above) then going on the allotted day bring along your proof of loss and explain to the magistrate what happened. You should show the newspaper cuttings of the public statements made, and prove how much you lost. Unfortunately even if it more then 5k you can only claim and win a maximum of RM 5,000 using small Claims Court.
The Magistrate may then question the Directors and if the Magistrate so chooses award you your money. It a big hassle for 5k, but its also a big hassle for the persons you sue, and most like they will just send you a check to settle the matter rather then have to attend and risk a very having damaging a judgment recorded against them in the Court records which will forever.
