Nothing is impossible in stock market. Going to $2 is not impossible may be the matter of time only.

It seems many have defended this counter in last year now already disappeared from this forum, only left a few still stubburn here.

Many were crazy and believed the target price $24, $22, $15, $12 ... in last year but now didn't see anyone talk about all these prices here. So much difference just a few months only.

Anaconda, break $4 is not dreaming now. Even u can get lower later.

Amitaba, No problem u can collect as many as u want to be long term bag holder. It doesn't matter how much your money trapped inside as long as u are happy with that. It's OK. Go ahead.

Company cash rich and making huge profit now, so what? It doesn't benefit stock holders if low dividend payout and the stock price stagnant remain at low level that most of its stock holders trapped suffering huge paper loss.

Supermx has plan to set up plant in US to supply US market may be just because of the US government policy. With the plant set in US to supply US market, means its Malaysia plants will be lesser or no more export sales to US market. Since the US plant operation costs must be higher than its Malaysia plant operation costs, its profit margin would drop that might lead to significant profit decline in future.
Thus setting up plant in US to supply US market might not increase but might reduce company overall profit.

Since the glove manufacturers in Malaysia much rely on the export sales to US market if the US government later really have policy to build up its own gloves manufacturing to supply US market and to reduce its gloves import that would definitely be the big problem and disaster on Malaysia gloves manufacturers which might encounter substantial loss of US market share, large drop of sales and significant profit decline. Hope these will not happen but anything can happen too in future.

Those trapped at high floor even have average down might only partly or fully recover their capital without making any profit after long term holding it for number of years cos even it rebounds later might not go up so high as previous can't up to their price level.

Be trapped as long term investment at high cost and substantial paper loss. This is the consequences of too optimistic, too believed and only focused on FA of company but neglected the TA, market sentiments and the change of market trend, and go against the market trend.

Since it drops little by little day by day in such way without big dump, even later down below $4 might not have any big rebound. U might see the price continues down little by little and stagnant.

It doesn't drop below $4 now doesn't mean it can't or won't in future later cos it's at border line nearing $4 now and no momentum to go up.

Long term down trend and long term bearish stagnant. Prepare to hold tight tight for long-term number of years or may be until next new pandemic come. If now in this year can't go up higher, means no chance already cos next year ASP and company profit would drop for normalization that lead to price further down.

AlexT12, u are outdated investor, people investing Genting now not for its current performance but is forward looking its profit recovery in future post-pandemic. Stocks investment is forward looking into future not based on current happening.

I am not new I have been in the stock market investment since the financial crisis in 1997 and 1998 during which I have earned around $800000 from Genting shares that I did bottom fishing on it.

Do u think PAS can win to become government with just a minority party compared to others? How much its influence can be with just the minority party? Even last time it intended to get pass through parliament for its Islam related proporsal also can't be successful. Even with its win in the coming election it also can't be the government with its minority.

No worries it's just the small correction after much rising. It is up trending with the support from local and forreign funds. After the price correction it would definitely be up again even to higher level for a lot of good news pending out. Any price correction is a good opportunity for buying to huat huat lah.

All the short term forreign funds will not support the stock price they would sell for profit when price up to their targeted level then price would drop back after their selling for profit. Just like supermx price now up little then drop back no support, this show that no funds to support it.
Only the long term forreign or local funds will support the stock price after they bought in already will see the stock price supported at certain level hardly to drop back.

There are always forreign funds in and out for short term trading in the market not only in supermx counter but also happen in other counters too. Thus u can see stock price volatile up and down within certain limits.

The forreign funds mentioned to accumulate supermx might be the JPM buy back from market to cover its short position that u don't know. Even the forreign funds can be short term funds bought in last week then sell in this week or later on.

If pay 50 cents dividend would just go up by 50 cents or little more only, then after ex-date drop back by 50 cents. Just like what happened on top glove price drops after ex-date.

Some here have talked about how serious the covid cases since the stock price all the way down from $12 until now almost $4. That means the more u talk on the worse of covid cases the lower the stock price would go down.

Talk so much about the covid cases here also no use, people are no more feelings on it, people now rather more care for their jobs and family livinghood, so it can't help to push up the stock price again.

It's just part of the group business structure reorganization to strengthen its financial status for future.

This kind of small volume indicates the trading is between retailers themselves no big players no funds involved. If the trading between retailers, price can't go up much because no one push it.

If 'yam tik, yam tik' drop little by little day by day it might break $4 to lower again unless it can shoot up higher but it seems slim chance with this kind of small volume.

If it's really a good effect on it, why not all of u attending in this forum together push up the price as u want and no need every day wait to see its price go up or not.

liewtz06, u mentioned about supermx is able to generate 1.8B annual profit after expansion plan completes post Covid 2022. Any realistic official data to support it. Have u consider the worldwide gloves supply with the production expansion by most of the glove manufacturers and the entry of new manufacturers in China, USA, Thailand, Malaysia ets that would cause oversupply of gloves post-pandemic and war price lead to deep drop of ASP and profit margin.

Furthermore, the setting of new plant in USA is just to replace Malaysia plants to supply US market only that would eliminate or reduce the existing export from Malaysia plants to US market, thus the export sales to US from Malaysia plants would be no more or drop. The US plant operation costs must be higher than Malaysia plants operation costs that lead to drop of profit margin. Thus the setting of US plant is just aimed to maintain its US market only due to the US government policy it won't much increase company profit.

With all these factors, is it sure for supermx able to generate 1.8B annual profit post-pandemic?
The stock price now already down to around $4, will it easy to shoot up to >$10 as u mentioned since high selling pressure at its upper side because many trapped ones waiting to release at the high floor?

I saw many of u here just repeat the posting of same and outdated articles about the vaccines and covid cases. I saw this kind of old and same articles many times already in this forum.

Don't just rely on the statement made by someone even the company boss or directors also. U must do research with realistic official data see whether can derive it from the company as evidence. Sometimes even the statement made by company boss or directors without the support of data is not reliable or may be outdated.
