B3. Prospects for the remaining period of current financial year
The selling price of plywood had dropped significantly as compared to a year earlier due to weak global demand. However, our production cost especially the price of logs still remains at high. Operating environment becomes challenging if the demand and price of plywood remains weak. Due to weak global demand and unfavourable price trend, we reduce our production volume and labour hours since March this year. We will focus on more cost cutting measures to reduce our unit cost during this tough period. In overall, the Group’s operating environment will remain challenging in the remaining period of current financial year.

Share price may move side way or drop for a few months if current market sentiment remains the same. With some stocks at multi year low, there may be better options, especially if RM continues to weaken.

the big funds have been reducing their stake but they do it quietly and do not cause a sharp drop in the share price. I have to say they are good type of big funds.

2 bad QR and we do not know how long the bad QR will continue. We also do not know how low it will go because there is no history that we can refer to. That is the scary part! DO not catch the falling knife, remember? Do not try to predict the bottom and buy. Buy only when there is an uptrend.

Thank you Icon8888 for your article on February 1st this year. I knew about Success when they announced share split a few years ago and it was on my watch list ever since. Your article really caught my attention when you said its share price was trading at multi-year low at that time (RM0.5x). I knew its share price was low but did not know it was at MULTI-YEAR LOW. I felt it was undervalued and way oversold considering its 2019Q1 earning was 2+ sen. I bought a little only as I would like to see another quarterly report.

Management mentioned they had a chance to secure some local public projects in the Edge article earlier. At that time, I was very skeptical about that and I assumed the management only wanted to paint a rosy picture. "Our government where got money???" It was my thought exactly. Now Success needs to show us they are able to secure some local public projects and translate them into good earnings (yearly EPS over 20 sen during those good old days)

Another stock that I do not buy enough. No time to monitor any more for today. Good luck everyone!

Let us look at the numbers from last year
2018Q1 0.29 sen
2018Q2 0.87 sen
2018Q3 -0.94 sen
