I check again. I do not have Jaks in the drop down list at all... Does it happen only to me?

After I log in, I can not find any company starts with J using the drop down list. I browse the events and I can not find Jaks either.

Let us observe tomorrow the selling pressure and how the big funds react to this QR results. Most people must have kept this stock and waited for the QR, which expected to be great. For me the risk/reward is not attractive at all. Worse... every time there is news about vaccine, it is another scare, and it keeps the share price from advancing. I feel like people are scared to add position, and not betting big. And news about vaccine should appear more frequent in the future. This obstacle will always be there.

the charts of the Big 4 are technically weak. and Carepls's share is holding well maybe because everyone is waiting for its result. So be careful, the big fund most likely will unload on Monday.

Although second half 2020 is expected to be stronger for Lotte Chemical Titan, KAF still envisages the upside of the spreads to be limited as “the expected incremental supply of PE in 2021 is likely to still outpace incremental demand on a global basis”.

Additionally, the affected US plants should restart operations by end of 2020, bringing petrochemical dynamics back to normal.

Therefore I have lowered my expectation.

QR is a lot worse than expected. Not sure what happened. We may see 50-60 sen again. What is the point for company to buy back share at 90 sen?????

I know there are people who are worried about QR result, and share price may take a hit if people do not like the QR. But as MFCB shows, it is not about the past, it is about the future. Thus any price weakness is a chance to top up.

Unfortunately we have to wait maybe 1 more year for concrete proof in the form of earnings.

If you have any doubts, sometimes I do, just check out MFCB.

Public Bank has revised upward the target price of MFCB a few times, the latest is RM6.29 on January 16th, 2020.

Jaks only have 30% stake currently. It is a GREAT move to increase its stake to 40%. They'd better find a way to do it. Whether it is Private Placement or Right Issue does not matter.

elbrutus, I read the sections Chairman's Statement together with Management Discussion and Analysis in Annual Report 2018. There was no mention of future right issue. Jaks did have 2 corporate exercise in 2018 -- Private Placement of shares and Renounceable Rights Issue of Warrants

It is difficult to determine the return at the moment. Not sure if Jaks will give dividend or not

I do not think the debate Jaks vs YTL Power is necessary. I believe you will be happy with either MFCB, Jaks or YTL Power. You can buy all 3 if you want

Not sure why the revenue dropped. However, the profit margin further improved from 2% last quarter to 3.2%. This was why the gross profit was roughly the same as in the same period lat year despite the drop in revenue. Also gross profit was the 2nd highest despite the revenue was the lowest of the last 5 quarters!
