exceptional quarterly result last quarter. 2015 EPS was 3.66 sen for the entire year. 2016Q1 alone was 6.77 sen but this result might not be beaten next year. However, the management sounds optimistic that I believe there is a good chance that the next few quarterly results will improve from last year, y-o-y.

bursastockdummy, if rchi is right, the KLCI will be in uptrend this month because of window dressing. I would recommend FBMKLCI-C46 because its exercise price 1,640 is closer to the current future index. Also Exercise Ratio is at the lowest 300. Have to hold for weeks.

Yen Leng, I do not think I am able to predict. I look at the earning reports and find those that are undervalued

every quarter we have companies that report exceptional earnings. 2 quarters ago it was Comcorp. Last quarter we had Tawin. This quarter we have Emetall.

bursastockdummy, you look at HSI right now -- up more than 2%. That is why HSI index warrants are the most popular warrants. And you can compare the volume. Most of the traders are in HSI index warrants.

If we compare the 2 index warrants based on the following criteria -- exercise price, exercise ratio, expiry date, effective gearing:
exercise price --> advantage FBMKLCI-C46
exercise ratio --> advantage FBMKLCI-C46
expiry date --> advantage FBMKLCI-C38
effective gearing --> advantage FBMKLCI-C38

I do not look at Effective Gearing nowadays because it shows a distorted number when the index warrant is way out of money. The E.G of FBMKLCI-C28 is at the highest -- over 50, but it is unlikely that we are going to enjoy it (lower probability).

in practice,
1) the index warrant with the lowest exercise ratio will move faster
2) the index warrant with the closest exercise price to the current index future will move faster
3) the index warrant with the nearer to expiry date will move faster

Anyway I do agree FBMKLCI-C38 is cheap enough that it deserves consideration but I will not recommend it for day trading.

for intra-day trades, you can not find any index warrant better than HSI. The intra-day high and low of HSI is large enough for traders.

KLCI does not move much in a day, so KLCI index warrant is more suitable when there is a trending market -- either uptrend and downtrend, and it is profitable for keeping days or weeks. It is not suitable for sideway market.

if you must trade KLCI index warrant, you have to choose one that is responsive. Its exercise price must be close to the current index future.

bursastockdummy, you have to evaluate each situation to see if the odd is with you or against you. It is okay to sell first and ask question later. You can always buy back. If 1MDB defaults again, index-linked stocks will be the ones that will get affected the most, and thus your index-based warrant. I will only buy after the news is out.
