Mlabs is pleased to announce that further to the investment and shareheolders’ agreement between Multimedia Research Lab Sdn. Bhd., its wholly owned subsidiary, located at Lot 10.3, 10th Floor, Menara Lien Hoe, No. 8, Persiaran Tropicana, Tropicana Golf & Country Resort, 47410 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan (“MRL”) and Red Dragon Media Ltd. located at 44-3, North of Shui Xiang Cha Lou, East area of Gao Bei Dian, Chao Yang, District, Beijing, China 100124 (“RDM”) on 23 August 2017, MRL has accepted a Letter of Award from RDM to act as the main contractor for computer generated imagery production work at an agreed contract value of USD10 million over a production period of one year (“Contract”).

The Contract will be transferred to the joint venture company, tentatively named Gold Dragon Media Sdn. Bhd. or any name to be identified at a later stage (“JVC”) as soon as the JVC becomes operational.

If you managed to buy at 9 sen, then congrat to you, if you buy at 10 sen or even 14 sen, then good luck to you as the share prices could reach 15 sen soon if Mlab succeeded in getting a new huge contract from China.

For those with less capital, can try to buy wa or wb....% of gain is much higher than the mother price.

9-10 sen should be a very good buy. Target price is 15 sen within six months under normal trade.

There's no valid reason for it to drop further as no negative news so far from Mlab, only postive news like the new major shareholders and new contracts from Thailand and China. Better buy for long term than playing contra as someone seems purposely pushing it down in order to buy back at lower price later.

Below 10 sen should be a very good buy. With so much cash in hand and more positive news coming from Thailand and China, Mlab will definitely gives you a very handsome returns in medium to long term period. Agree ??

Mlabs Systems Bhd’s unit has bagged a US$10 million (RM42.8 million) contract for computer generated imagery production work.

The group told Bursa Malaysia that its wholly owned subsidiary Multimedia Research Lab Sdn Bhd has accepted a letter of award from Red Dragon Media Ltd for the contract. The contract will then be transferred to a joint-venture company, tentatively named Gold Dragon Media Sdn Bhd. It is valid until June 2018.

"The contract is expected to contribute positively towards Mlabs group's earnings and net assets for the financial year ending March 31, 2018," it noted.

Hopefully Mlab major shareholder use their huge cash in hand for some fantastic ventures like online payment for Alibaba.

With so much cash in hand, Mlabs could do wonder with the cash if put up for good use. Maybe Mlabs may acquire some shares in Taobao, China so that Malaysians like me could buy cheaper stuff from Alibaba or goods sold on weibo. Surely Mlabs share price would react positively to the new venture.

The Board of Directors of Asia Bioenergy Technologies Berhad (“ABT” or “the Company”) wishes to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Asiabio Capital Sdn. Bhd. has on 15 September 2017 acquired 75,100,000 shares of Mlabs Systems Berhad (“MLABS”), representing 13.16% equity interest in MLABS, via the subscription of the rights and excess shares of MLABS at an issue price of RM0.15 each (“Shares”) for a total cash consideration of RM11,265,000 (“Consideration”). Pursuant to the acquisition, Asiabio Capital Sdn. Bhd. will also be issued 37,550,000 free Warrants B of MLABS.

This company now is cash rich and may return some extra money to shareholders.

Reference is made to the Circular dated 19 May 2017 as well as the announcements dated 27 July 2017 and 28 July 2017 in relation to the Rights Issue with Warrants.

On behalf of the Board, Mercury Securities wishes to clarify the following:-

(i) In the Circular, it was disclosed that the Rights Issue with Warrants will raise gross proceeds of RM18.7 million under the Base Case Scenario and RM26.4 million under the Maximum Scenario, based on an illustrative issue price of RM0.05 per Rights Share.

(ii) Subsequently, on 27 July 2017, Mercury Securities had, on behalf of the Board, announced that the Board resolved to fix the issue price at RM0.15 per Rights Share.

(iii) Arising from the above, additional proceeds of RM37.4 million and RM52.8 million under the Base Case Scenario and Maximum Scenario respectively will be allocated for the acquisition and/or investment in other complementary businesses and/or assets, further details of which were set out in Section 4(iii) of the Circular and will be set out in the Abridged Prospectus to be issued to Shareholders in due course.

(iv) Subject to the eventual subscription level of the Rights Issue with Warrants, the proceeds to be allocated for the acquisition and/or investments in other complementary businesses and/or assets may be substantial.

(v) Hence, the Board has resolved that if the Company is unable to identify suitable investments within 24 months from the completion of the Rights Issue with Warrants, the Company shall undertake a capital reduction and repayment exercise to distribute the unutilised proceeds back to Shareholders. In such an event, the Company shall make the necessary announcements and seek the necessary approvals from Shareholders and/or other relevant authorities to effect the capital reduction and repayment exercise.
