Saudi is in a stare-down competition with other oil producers. Sooner or later someone is gonna flinch, then oil prices go back up again. But this is gonna take a while and we will see some collateral damage along the way with bolehland being one of them. For consumers, I guess its time to tighten your belts (sorry folks, falling oil price has nothing to do with you). For stock buyers, the everyday low bargain has yet to come.

If everyone knows which "right direction" to take, there will be no poor people in this world. The point is to take on the challenge and charter into the unknown. That's why only few do it and that's what makes them special.

It might if the index shed another 20 points. Then comes a day or two of panic selling before someone comes in to "stabilize" the price.

The market is currently in a correction mode, so it is not unusual that the recently IPO counters fall further than others. But Reach is not going to tank anytime soon without even an attempt at making an acquisition, unless the BN government get themselves into some serious financial shit (default or something to that effect). Having said that, I think it is good to wait out until QE3 has ended, only then will you know how well the KLSE holds up.

I'm pretty sure they already have an acquisition target in sight. But give the market sentiment, the news is not likely to do any good. They will probably make the announcement when the index is near 1900 to push the share price over RM1.
