Sslee did u ever deal with corporation bank loan financing? Do u have any idea how much interest bank charge during the pandemic ?

haha sslee u still miss the point. Why twist the facts to explain a false interpretation.
whomever take loan to finance RI need to pay the bank loan and interest, is not free monies.

During covid 19 and business uncertainty, is very difficult to direct secure bank loan for working capital to sustain Airasia business.
Bank only care the monies loan out return with reasonable interest.
RI taken by all shareholders including Tony, Kamarudin etc is to secure monies for Asia working capital ensuring the company survive during difficult time.
Taking loan to finance RI is a liabilities. Why? Bank loan and interest need to be paid to the bank, Bank is the biggest beneficial for a loan. Which bank give interest free loan?

"The different is the whole RI of RCUIDS with free warrants is to benefit Stony.
Stony already pledged his RCUIDS to bank for his borrowing to subscribe the RI. The banks only want their money back and not capA nor AAX shares.
Stony and capA encountered all the crap & sh!t from bankers as banks are famous for lending you an umbrella in sunny day and ask for it back when it begins to rain "
sslee again taking text out of contexts and using confirmation bias to explain a false interpretation.

Amazon growth from an online bookstore into an eCommerce conglomerate.
Capital A is growing from low budget air travel business into a tourism conglomerate.
For such an ambition goal modern financing option has to be deployed.
One cannot expect extraordinary business growth using outdated kampung kedai model where everything in cash.

So what is the difference of converting the rcuids before the proposal and dont convert.
Convert now will get AAX shares and Capital A share.
Dont convert still entitle to interest based on outstanding rcuids subject to gradual issuer redemption .
1 month ago | Report Abuse
Issuer can choose early redemption or follow the redemption schedule.
Redemption start 4th year from rcuids issue date, thus total outstanding rcuids shares will reduced.

so is this a problem? When did Telco companies own telecom towers, own telecom equipments? Even telcos that suppose cash rich also use leasing instead of all capex.
this is not the 70s that company must own assets to expand business. There are various financing model to growth company.

COL add no value to the fund, from start buying until COL became major shareholder the stock price remain discount to NAV.

COL is not welcome at all during AGM, they are boo until too scare to send their mat salleh rep. However there are still local agent speaking under their master command.

The management is good with the language they use, talk a lot without showing results.

sslee is good for you to keep asking questions to the BOD to clear what you dont understand. However, to be effective then do attend AGM or EGM. You did miss last meeting.
"By the way I make myself an AAX shareholder and this time round I will ask the difficult questions on AAX aquisition of AAAGL and AAB.
And will AAX fall into PN17 after taking over the assets and liabilities of AAAGL and AAB?"
The answer for this question is in the details of the proposal. Read the details to understand how the proposal work and what PN17 really mean accounting wise.

Sslee didn't u said that aa too cheap to make profit? Lion air cheaper so worst than aa?
The point to check is whether aa fly with how many empty seats.
I been traveling around sea, to get cheap aa flights on short notice is not easy, most of the time is buying other airline not due to price but seat availability.

Those that spread false information that aax acquiring capital a aviation business will cause aax fall into pn17 is very irresponsible. If one read the proposal of the restructuring will understand that aax will not fall into pn17 post acquisition, the answer is in the proposal.

When Amazon started in the midst of dot com bubble in the 90s, amazon only sell book online.
After the dot com bubble burst in 2000, Amazon faced with the doubt of online business viability. Amazon growth from selling book to entire online retail ecosystem that later other like alibaba, JD emulate.
Amazon does not lack of naysayers until Amazon make profit and growth to a global retail giant.
History proof these naysayers is a joke.
Capital A start as a pure airline company from loss making to profitable and then dividend paying before the pandemic.
Now like the dot com crisis, Capital A faced with financial aftermath of the pandemic. Capital A is now growing the businesses from pure airline to business and leisure tourism services solution ecosystem.
Look at the business model and then do logical check whether the company progress in that direction.
Company making profit is dependent on business direction and implementation capability.

Tourism and business around SEA, CHINA are booming compare with EU and USA.
Capital A is a SEA based one stop tourism company with air line business necessary to be part of the ecosystem.
Airbus and Boeing are still having supply chain issue in fulfilling their order, this is not an issue that can be solve in short term.
https://investors.boeing.com/investors/news/press-release-details/2024/Boeing-Forecasts-Demand-for-Nearly-44000-New-Airplanes-Through-2043-as-Air-Travel-Surpasses-Pre-Pandemic-Levels/default.aspx

https://skift.com/2024/06/25/airbus-will-deliver-fewer-new-planes-this-year/
Thus airline with existing plane or grounded plane that can be refurbish to continue fly safely will take the sales from those airline that are still waiting for new airplane.
Capital A has both new plane order waiting to be deliver and grounded plane that can refurbish to be back to service. Capital A airline business has advantages over other airline, while the Capital A tourism ecosystem is growing with the booming of SEA and China tourism and business.

During the pandemic , RI is done to raise cash to sustain the company. The LA payment and free WA are bundled to attract investor to subscript RI.
Those convert the LA (injecting cash into Capital A) probably think the new airline proposal is attractive.
These investors would think LA or WA not a burden but opportunities to make monies.
Post proposal the next proposal of listing of AirAsia brand is unlocking intangible assets become actual shares with market value. Use branding to make monies.
