Some may argue that the demand by consumers in China & India are still strong. I doubt so. And, so is the demand for use in biodiesel. However, this additional demand has been factored into the demand curve and the increase (if any) will be marginal and this would not represent a shift in the demand curve. As such, I do not foresee CPO going back to the heyday of RM4000 per tonne. In fact, I believe there is greater likelihood of CPO dropping further to possibly RM2000 per tonne

The period of super-normal profit induced many plantation companies to open up new land for cultivation of palm oil. Due to time lag, where oil palm trees can only start to produce FFB after 3-4 years (while the more productive age is above 7 years old), the increase in oil palm estate land did not make a dent in the price of CPO for the past few years.
However, as the tree begins to reach the age of 7th year, the FFB output should increase significantly in the next few years. This increase will result in the supply curve shifting to the right. This shifting of the supply curve will result in a new price equilibrium with prices dropping back

Ingens - Killer Plot
As Ingens had continue with it's blood killing spree, I hope that those who got warned about in the earlier post had not touched Ingens as I foresee the same fate as of TMS, where pool of blood mess is left around unattended, and victims are left there licking for their own wounds, while some might not even to be able to get up and walk straight again.
Ingens had been nice to be able to keep the public up with some good game like suspension order, Mr ABC wanting to purchase how many percentage of the company, and could trigger MGO, Mr XYZ injecting tons and billions of project and asset into the company.
Are we so short in our memories? After Harvest, Nicorp, Mtronic and Aglobal. Where are all those injections of assets? Where are all those said price?
Now all done. Did not buy any of this.

0247 GMT [Dow Jones] STOCK CALL: Citigroup keeps its Sell call on AirAsia (5099.KU) and cuts its target to MYR2.30 from MYR2.85, after lowering its FY13 earnings forecasts by 20% following the announcement of new low-cost carrier Malindo Airways that is due to start operations in May. The house notes that "Malindo Airways is more than a competitive threat--it may be a strategic disruption to AirAsia's regionalization strategy." For the next year, it expects AirAsia to be weighed under lower average fares as capacity expansion gains pace and the company has little room to raise prices in a high-cost environment. The stock is down 2.9% at MYR2.93.

As Padini continues to generate cash, we see scope for an increased dividend payout
which will make Padini an even more attractive investment option.
q At 13.3x FY13 PE, Padini trades at a steep discount to ASEAN and Malaysian peer
averages of 22x and 21x respectively.
In our view, this discount is unwarranted as Padini’s improved liquidity and attractive growth profile
2012-08-30 09:09 | Report Abuse
do you worry that the price will go up or go down.
2012-08-30 08:51 | Report Abuse
Padini’s FY12 results of RM95m came in within ours and market
expectations. However there was a positive surprise of a 2sen/share
interim dividend which means a FY pay-out of 6 sen or 42% which is
higher than our 5.5sen FY forecast. We are upgrading our dividend payout
assumptions to 40-42% going forward. Padini trades at a 13.2x FY13
PE which is at an unwarranted discount to Malaysian and ASEAN peers.
We re-iterate BUY with RM2.83 TP.

KUALA LUMPUR: Bonia Corp Bhd, which saw strong trading interest recently, saw 35.03 million shares transacted in several off-market deals on Tuesday.
Stock market data showed the shares were transacted at RM2.04 each, or 45 sen or 18.07% below Monday's closing price of RM2.49.
The 35.03 million shares accounted for 17.37% based on the paid-up of 201.57 million shares.
At 4.09pm, it was up seven sen to RM2.56.
Last Friday, Bonia announced its group executive chairman cum CEO Chiang Sang Sem was looking to acquire certain stake at prices ranging from RM1.80 to RM2 a share.
Last Friday, Chiang announced he was in discussion with several parties to acquire certain stakes in Bonia. The indicative price for the potential acquisition is in the range of RM1.80 to RM2 per share.
The potential acquisition, when completed, would result in Chiang and his family collectively holding more than 50%. Chiang and his family would then be obliged to extend a mandatory general offer to acquire the remaining shares in Bonia at the same price as the potential acquisition.

I think PNB already sell the stake at RM 2.04. So at least we know the share price will be at RM 2.04 above. There need 75% to get the deal done. Wait and see how it goes.
