Slowing rising from its oversold position

POS is well placed during this covid season to expand its top line and profitability. Hope we are able to look forward to some good news when they release their QR tomorrow.

Big boys coming in and there is a dichotomy. TG is headed south whilst RX is headed north. Hope it stays that way.

Pandemic should see more e-commerce and help push PPHB's packaging business

So agree with Frank74, Ruberex's factory is located in Perak so its Covid risk profile is lower than TG.

Hold on to the wagyu, Big boys have not come on yet. Let the news sink in a bit.

In the hazy world of rumours, it could be wiser to wait and see the outcome. So Mahsing got the vaccine syringe deal but what happens next will still play out over the next few days.

Many of the western vaccines coming on stream on the back of fast tracked FDA approval seem to focus on introducing matters into our DNA to trigger an immune response and goodness know what other unintended downstream consequences. Some also require specialised sub-zero cold storage which will make it impractical for distribution. Sinopharm is a front runner and a serious contender to the novel western vaccines, and Kanger is a strategically placed vaccine gateway in Malaysia.

Wu is hedging his gains by switching to gloves. Sinopharm at 97% effectiveness compares favourably with Moderna's 95% but the former is more likely to reach our shores by Q1 next year.

With a virtual monopoly in mail logistics, POS should do much better during this pandemic if they could get their act together.

Lack luster and listless would be a gross understatement. Where are the strategies and turnaround initiatives to leverage a virtual monopoly in the on-line logistics and payment business?

Vaccine development has stalled over complications which needs to be checked. With Supermax, Ruberex, Carepls and TopGlove leading the charge, Comfort is not far behind with big players in the buy mode. Go Comfort, go!

Tomorrow Comfort will hopefully find its real price. So many challenges. So oversold.

Opportunity to buy on the cheap? Seems big boys are sidelined while smaller players are selling down today despite US market re-bounce. How low can it go?

https://www.rawstory.com/2020/09/nine-19-vaccine-developers-pledge-to-uphold-scientific-integrity/ The rush to roll out a vaccine has hit a speed hump and still has some way to go before the Covid19 pandemic comes to an end, There is still room for glove and PPE play. Baby Shark is very smart :)
2020-09-02 09:37 | Report Abuse
Plenty of new "me too" glove players in the market but it is worth noting Comfort is an established player along with the traditional big boys. Still got enough runway for more climbs with vaccine still some way to come..

Pharma and Dpharma are merely bottling the vaccines at the tail end of the value chain. Whether the vaccine is super effective or nominally effective, gloves are still needed along with masks and other PPE equipment. There should still be some momentum in the run up to a post vaccine world.

AirAsia's "economy model" is by far the better bet to survive a Covid19 pandemic in the short to medium run. They have taken quick measures to re-size and adapt to the new market conditions. With the gradual reopening of the skies among the "safe" countries amid the ever increasing cost pressure on the airline industry, AirAsia is relatively well placed to deliver some great news for our hospitality and tourism industry.
