My question is why Star issued saman already? In the announcement got say handover latest is 31 October 2019. Does it mean already handover?



STAR is claiming:

(a) specific relief for the Company to complete or cause to be completed JIC’s obligations under the SPA namely the completion and delivery of STAR’s Entitlement by 31 October 2019

This announcement no impact, not an unknown event. Every quarter also management provided LAD. See Note 27 of audited accounts. In 2017, RM8.1m provided. In 2018, another RM32.3m provided.

This is the final diagnosis: Its not a trap per se. A big trader who aggressively went on a long side yesterday now churning at a few cents lower to clear his position at some losses as he realized Mr Market has moved against him. You better get out with him bcause the immediate price direction will be down. It should hv moved down without his controls. It seems that he still has some more shares to unload. You r safe till monday morning. Thereafter n next few days you ll see blood on this little wall street.

Change story again? Yesterday you say today see blood. Today no see blood, now you say next week see blood.

If next week got blood, you say you correct. If next week no see blood, you say next next week see blood. Like that one day you sure correct.

If the IPP for some reason doesn't work out, where is the margin of safety for JAKS?

You talk down all business without looking at your own business biggest risk.

You can have all the 10 year historical record on chicken illness and nobody will is able to predict or guide on when the next chicken cull will happen. Chicken business is highly unpredictable and high risk. But you only look at numbers and not the practical operation side of this business. And yet you can use QL as your 'best practice model' against everyone else business.

This is arguing for the sake of arguing. I have 10 year sales record, earnings growth record, historical record, revenue and earnings figures. My prediction and management guidance is within an expected band. You have zero actual results from hai duong plant. Your only comparison is with another plant somewhere else, done and managed by another party, using a different PPA agreement. How to predict?

GKENT has never lost money, is net cash, doesn't need to do warrants and RI (without affecting shareholder value), gives out 6% dividends a year, and has a great business model (name me another water meter manufacturer in malaysia, or a local railway specialist, water treatment specialist and hospital contractor).

Philip very clear is not business owner. With your mindset, you cannot do business. All things must fixed and no unknown for you to be confident.

Doing business will have business concept and strategy. You try max your revenue and min expenses base on the business plan. You question all variables. In running business, you try to min deviation of variables. That is part of risk of doing business. Where got risk free business?

You doubt in operational variable matter is same for all business. Somehow you can still find peace in QL. Business dealing with lifestock even more unpredictable. Convenient store lagi worse. You will say because QL management is good in managing risk. How you know the Chinese cannot manage this power plant properly? Power generation of 1200 MW is fixed, it is a take or pay option in the PPA.
In other words, if at peak generation, per hour generated would be 1200 MWH no. of units. If the generation is less, then this lowers the 25 year profits. Obviously a power plant would not run at that maximum efficiency, yearly maintenance downtime is usually around 5% of plant efficiency (historically). and there is also a capacity factor as year pass by where the power plant will drop in efficiency (generation will usually estimate at 1-2% drop in generation capability every year). Question is if the petrol station owner is selling you a new station saying you can make 250K of profits every year and get back your break even costs in 8 years IRR12% (say you invested 2 million in the petrol station), how confident would you be?

Again, I am not saying the figures are wrong, but looking at steven's PPA figures I am more confused. I do not like it when inputs and outputs dont make sense.

QS is known.
