I get confused because many people use 1 lot = 100 shares and some use 1 lot = 1000 shares. Well, bursa officially uses 1 lot = 100, but some old timers use 1000.

@investsuccess trader yeah almost all of his shares are pledged. the ones under cita and sanichi as well. All nominees accounts too. Actually, now that I look at it, the top 30 shareholders list is FULL of people who all pledged their shares. ... so yeah, if metronic share price crashes, it will crash all the way to 0.5 sen I guess. I think more than 2/3 of metronic issued shares are being pledged right now. EEEEK!!!

if the creditors don't agree to waive it's debts, it is indeed DEAD. ... currently AAX has several billion assets, and AAX is trying to tell the creditors to accept RM200m instead of the full 63.5b they owe. ... If I was the creditor, I would insist on liquidation, and pay me back whatever I can get. why would I take that 200m deal when liquidation would net me SO much more?

Won't the court case be thrown out? cause LKY is now no longer significant share holder. The court case was based on when LKY had 328 million shares, and the lawsuit was RM10m, but now he only has 25m shares, he's not even a substantial shareholder anymore.

more important disclaimer: I am NOT doing that trade myself. I was just suggesting the possiblity. ... I don't really like day trading, and I'm not sure whether the profit from this trade, minus fees and brokerage etc, is worth the risk of getting caught in an open position when they stop playing.

I'm just stating that, during this period where they are playing this game, it is not necessarily a bad thing, it can be viewed as an opportunity too. Albeit, a risky opportunity.

Twisted logic? ... dude, if ANYONE sells half their Genting shares at RM12 and keeps the other half at RM12, that probably means that they value their shares at RM12.

Even for yourselfves: your current shareholdings. If you sell half and keep half (and you're not forced to sell cause you need money), that implies that you think that the value is around the price that you sold at.

And, if you are saying that LCG thinks that his shares are worth RM12, but he sold at RM8, just for fun, that implies that LCG is an idiot. And since he is an executive director, well... that can't be good for the company.
