When a Public-listed company start earning stable income, big player ady buy big portion of share by acting fast than others. If we buy that time, most probably the price ady rise up on the high side.

Please refer to this link below, is quite consistent with the ranking i check using Maybank stock analysis.
http://www.topyields.nl/Top-dividend-yields-of-KLCI30.php
For analysis on Maxis and Digi, pls refer my previous post on MAXIS and DIGI. Both are very good counter(top 2 and top 3 in dividend yield, currently low share price make both more attractive).
MAXIS target for high-end postpaid & prepaid, MAXIS home fibre internet, wireless internet and low-rate of IDD call.
while DIGI target for low-end postpaid& low-end prepaid with creative marketing.
Celcom high-end postpaid will take over by MAXIS, celcom prepaid will take over by DIGI.
In conclusion, i would recommended to buy both MAXIS and DIGI because there will share the market by different type of user segment, celcom will become weaker in long term. Suggest you to buy MAXIS first for more stable profile, then progressively buy DIGI for more profit margin.

KUALA LUMPUR: Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd's earnings are
not expected to be significantly impacted following the winning of the broadcasting rights to Barclays Premier League (BPL).
In a note today, MIDF Research Sdn Bhd said the estimated content cost as a percentage of revenue will increase by one-two percentage points in financial year 2014 from the current 32 per cent.
"The impact to Astro will also be positive as it will limit the churn rate of its subscribers," it said.
MIDF Research said the winning bid for BPL for the next three seasons starting from season 2013-2014 should remove a lot of uncertainty for Astro.
"At the current price level, we believe that it is an attractive entry point for investors to accumulate on Astro's shares," it said.
The research firm has maintained its 'buy' call on Astro with an unchanged target price of RM3.40

MAXIS give attractive dividend every quarter, not minimal dividend. MAXIS have 2nd highest dividend yield just after BAT.
If MAXIS price is RM 6.5, the annual yield is 6.15% (5x8cents).
If MAXIS price is RM 7.0, the annual yield is 5.17% (5x8cents).
This high rate of annual yield almost as good as amanah saham ady (6-7%) and unit trust. However, MAXIS definitely have capital gain in long term (predicted 20% annually), somemore you can withdraw your cash in stock market in 3 working days, unit trust you must keep at least 5 years.
In conclusion, MAXIS stock is a smarter choice than all unit trusts and amanah raya.
I have positive view on ASTRO also for medium term (one or two months, price will up after quarter earning release) to long term (one or two years)

for any investing, we need to understand their biz and their competition biz, promotion package.
My info is for investor, not for trader like you.
i dont think you can make money in MAXIS for short term, for medium term (one to two months) there are possibility, for long term MAXIS definitely more than 25% (5% dividen + 20% capital gain).

Better reduce AXIATA and TM, and increase DIGI (foreign norway company, benefit from recent liberisation policy) and MAXIS (attractive MAXIS HOME FIBRE package).

PUTRAJAYA (Nov 16): Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak today (Friday) announced 20 projects under the National Key Economic Areas (NKEAs) as well as the three Economic Corridors worth RM26.09 billion, which will contribute RM10.08 billion of gross national income (GNI) and create 64,282 jobs by 2020.
The 11 key projects in seven NKEAs (Oil, Gas and Energy, Greater KL, Communications, Content and Infrastructure, Business Services. Healthcare, Tourism and Education) will contribute RM1.129 billion of GNI in the year 2020 as well as attract investments of RM6.68 billion and create 40,021 jobs by 2020.
Under the Oil, Gas and Energy NKEA, Seaport Worldwide Sdn Bhd — a wholly-owned unit of Johor Port Bhd, which is in turn a subsidiary of MMC Corporation Bhd — is developing RM1.02 billion Tanjung Bin Petrochemical and Maritime Industrial Centre in Pontian, Johor.
The development comprises prime and strategic land covering a total area of 2,255 acres (913 hectares). This centre will complement other projects in Johor which aim to drive Malaysia’s ambition to be Asia Pacific’s hub for petroleum storage and trading.
Nusa Gapurna Development Sdn Bhd — a 60:40 joint venture between Gapurna Sdn Bhd and the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) — is developing a commercial property project in Seksyen 52, Petaling Jaya with a potential gross development value (GDV) of RM11 billion named the PJ Sentral Garden City.
The development, to span across 40 acres, is poised to be the new green central business district of Selangor, supporting Kuala Lumpur and other business hubs around the city and state.
Under the Communications, Content and Infrastructure NKEA, GPSTech Solutions Sdn Bhd will roll out the Malaysian Public Transportation System (MyPUTRAS), a free online smartportal and smartphone application.
MyPUTRAs was made possible by public-private sector collaboration involving the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and the Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) with technology support from MIMOS Bhd, Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad, Malaysian Technical Standards Forum Berhad, REDtone International Bhd, DiGi.Com Bhd and U-Mobile.
