interesting, hibiscus has not dropped as much relative to the drop in brent crude oil price...

the klang valley project an out-of-court settlement for BLand land exchange dispute with Selangor state government???

fainted, despite two announcements over 2 days, BLand just chose to not move...

If omicron not serious, they won't announce the news Sunday late night. Guess if one were to buy hibiscus now, he/she should expect to hold a few months to a year

Now traded as if the repsol deal has fallen off, fainted!
2021-11-25 09:42 | Report Abuse
I would have thought hibiscus would trade between 0.85-0.90 range at 82 brent until clarity over repsol acquisition, like the eventual cost, profits added at forecasted brent crude price.
2021-11-24 15:03 | Report Abuse
brent is 82+ and hibiscus only worth 0.79? Real big joke!

Err... FY2022 2.5-2.7 mil oil, and an additional 3 mil after repsol deal, how can that be 3X production??? Its just a double

the 0.01 dividend should be cancelled unless Hibiscus is confident not needing further share issuance to finance Repsol acquisition

60+ oil? Brent traded 70+ between July-Sep quarter

can't help but hope that hibiscus management can announce quarterly report and repsol acquisition details soon...

the last time brent tried to break 86, hibiscus reached a high of 97, now brent is trying to break 86 again, yet hibiscus barely hold on to 93, sigh!

Unless developed countries were to finance developing countries green energy supply system, there's little chance developing countries can forgo crude oil or coal, not to mention natural gas that most developed countries are using right now. The sad truth now, though, is developed countries have failed to commit to financing these projects, only to lecture them to comply while developed countries are those that consume the most carbon now. It's like the rich in developed countries CLAIMED that they don't mind higher taxes so long their money goes into good use when they are currently paying the least, what a joke!

what we need is a quarterly report showing great earning and a repsol acquisition completion with details on how earnings will be enhanced to move upward, my guess...
2021-10-25 11:50 | Report Abuse
with brent now above 86, I would have thought hibiscus crossing 1.10 already, yet it's stuck at 0.915-0.935 range today.
2021-10-06 11:25 | Report Abuse
with brent above 82, hibiscus should easily priced above 0.90 based on historical data before the Repsol acquisition. So, what cheer up Hibiscus???
2021-10-05 10:52 | Report Abuse
Oooh, I see... I only invested in hibiscus, primarily believing that a rising crude may not necessarily benefit refineries as much as oil producer, cause refineries earn from crack spread (that I didn't follow) while oil producer earn from the difference between crude oil price (basically reported everyday) and it's cost of production (that's pretty much known).
2021-10-05 10:33 | Report Abuse
hibiscus was trading at a high of 74.5 when crude oil broke 70 a few months ago. Right now, crude oil is way above 80, and hibiscus is trading at 0.755, what base price are you trying to base???

??? kindly elaborate more...
2021-10-05 10:24 | Report Abuse
hibiscus rose by 4.14%, petron rose by 4.6% while hengyuan rose by 5.98% as if rising crude oil benefits refineries more than oil producer, what a BOLEH BURSA...

Dare not buy anymore, the share price is traded as if there's no support...
2021-10-01 09:42 | Report Abuse
when brent first crossed 70 earlier this year, hibiscus rose to 0.74 (or slightly more?), but with this round, hibiscus barely hold on to 0.70 even when brent already close to 80. So, I would have little faith hibiscus rising above 0.90, even when a higher hibiscus share price makes me happier.
2021-09-30 15:43 | Report Abuse
luckily haven't sold my hibiscus shares... hopefully it will cross over 0.80 to reflect 78 brent
2021-09-28 17:03 | Report Abuse
So sad, can't even close above 0.70...
2021-09-27 16:28 | Report Abuse
A rising crude oil resulted in hibiscus rising 2.3% when hengyuan rose more than 4.7%, as if refinery benefitted more than oil producer in such scenario, what a joke
2021-09-27 11:23 | Report Abuse
What's to be happy about? Crude almost 80 and hibiscus can't even cross 0.70

Jojobaa, I am not against the use of CRPS, I am against not offering shareholders the right to participate! If shareholders are first asked to have the first right of refusal, it doesn't matter if the exercise price is lower or higher, but it will be fairer.
2021-09-13 17:51 | Report Abuse
malpac63, if they have been offered to all shareholders with bankers the leftover shares, I believe the offer price will be fairer. Instead, the deal is offered to only certain people/group leading to high possibility of hanky-panky.
2021-09-13 13:31 | Report Abuse
malpac63, this has nothing to do with other buying hibiscus at 0.48, but why should hibiscus seek financing with such a heavy financial cost!
2021-09-13 11:16 | Report Abuse
took my first glance into the CRPS, the tranche 2 issued is 203 million @ 0.48 per shares, i.e., roughly 423 million shares issued. Assuming hibiscus average selling price of 0.67, 423 million x (0.67 - 0.48) = 80 million. That means for a 203 million "borrowing" of less than a year, hibiscus is paying 80 million interests. My F**K! wonder if I should continue reading further...

no matter how good the result is going to be, hibiscus shareholders are heavily conned by the heavily diluted NA post CRPS
2021-09-10 17:21 | Report Abuse
jojoba showing the company's credibility is very low?
2021-09-10 09:13 | Report Abuse
err... what negatives? If a deal's most earnings go towards CRPS holders rather than shareholders of Hibiscus, particularly who have held long terms but not entitled to such exercise, how can this be good? Had all shareholders been offered the opportunities to participate before offering to certain party, the minorities may not feel that hurt. Truth is, if this were to happen again, I won't rule out requesting MACC to look into such deal.
2021-09-09 11:53 | Report Abuse
stockraider, if VT is genuine in restructuring BCorp that NOT ONLY benefiting himself but minorities as well, he should distribute BToto shares to BLand shareholders. That's the minimum that he can do to show the market he is indeed genuine, and not another stint to enrich nobody but himself!
2021-09-09 11:05 | Report Abuse
the problem with hibiscus is keeping issuing new shares at "way below market price", to who knows who they are, to buy new assets. The issuance of new shares keep diluting the profits earned due to the new shares issued, just look at the NA/share. Minority shareholders are not participating in the issuance of new shares are not actually benefiting from the acquisitions.

Yeah, RNAV 5 to 10, but VT is happily selling in the market and his macai pundan dare only to bet at this level
2021-08-14 20:48 | Report Abuse
900 million to privatize BTOTO? you must be kidding. VT selling's money will go directly into VT's pocket, not BCorp's pocket. BTOTO's market cap is 2.6 billion, and if VT is to privatize using his private vehicle, he'll need 2.6 billion cash at the least, assuming BCorp and BLand not distributing its shares to shareholders.
