stockraider, if VT is genuine, he could easily sell his shares to fund managers through direct negotiation rather than daily disposal. If he can't sell his shares to fund managers, that could only either he has some hanky panky behind the whole exercise or there's no trust among fund managers.

The last quarter report showed increased profits eaten by enlarged share base. Hopefully, repsol deal concluded soon without too much dilution that'll start to show increasing per share profit

without repsol deal, hibiscus should be flying given higher brent. Now, with repsol deal, hibiscus barely move, why? Guess only one explanation, many doubts over the deal...
2021-06-09 16:31 | Report Abuse
I bought into hibiscus when crude is at 60-62 range if I were not wrong, believing then that crude will rise to above 70, hopefully between 75-80 range. When crude began its rise to 70+, hibiscus hit a high of 0.745 and it began to fall. It took another attempt to rise above 0.72 but couldn't even reach 0.745. If I were not wrong, years back, when crude is traded around 70+, hibiscus was actually above 0.90. So, I believe something is not right, if not with the management, it must be with the company's production capability or hibiscus has issued way too many shares that what the market is willing to absorb.
Given current scenario, it further strengthen what I believe. So, best don't add anymore position.

hmm... for whatever reason, to me, hibiscus should reflect crude oil price. Given current trend, it's difficult for me to buy more hibiscus.
2021-06-09 14:04 | Report Abuse
so, what you are suggesting the market price is being manipulated to encourage CPRS conversion?
2021-06-09 12:27 | Report Abuse
if following the boss is the right move, it's then those following him to acquire those CPRS are the one making money at our expense. If Repsol deal is good, share price should reflect accordingly. Ideally speaking, Hibiscus should follow crude price, like when crude between 65-70, hibiscus between 0.xx-0.yy and so forth. Though, despite good Repsol acquisition and crude at 72, hibiscus has been performing as if crude is below 65. Thus, if there's any explanation, those CPRS holders are eating minorities lunch at this moment!

If the Repsol acquisition is good and crude oil is trending higher, what cause hibiscus to trade at current valuation? If there's any explanation, there's only one left, i.e., hisbiscus has been issuing those convertible debt to short-term investors and they have been selling their position and profiting from current trend. Meanwhile, we minorities who is supposed to enjoy higher share price thanks to higher crude oil price has to endure those sellers profiting at our expense.

jason, the big issue with hibiscus is the issued new shares are at a much lower price, and as a minority shareholder, I am pissed off. It's worse if those issued new shares were not for the long term investors, but short term player seeking to take profit when they see one, which seems to be current situation.

very misleading news on Sun Daily, wonder if SC will investigate. It's actually left hand to right hand, NOT VT buying those shares!

I'm happy with 0.85-0.95 range... Hope hibiscus per share profit and cash flow will rise post acquisition.
2021-06-03 17:52 | Report Abuse
if hisbicus can borrow to acquire these assets, coupling with rising crude price, surely hibiscus will fly Tuesday. If it's to be financed through new share issuance, the whole deal may not be so palatable.

not quite, for the past few weeks, when crude up, hibiscus may not up, but when crude down, hibiscus for sure will down... The latest crude at 70, hibiscus was around 0.74. Hopefully it's changing pattern for better now.

Alas, there is no need to scare minorities to dump shares lah... After selling kyoto four seasons, Bcorp has more than enough to handle this pandemic. After pandemic, many businesses will suffer or close in worst case scenario, but that would also mean less competition and higher profit margins for those surviving companies

stockraider, post VT & family BCorp shareholding pre-Jalil appointment and last Friday, if the total number of shares increase, then you can claim what you said. Otherwise, stop post nonsense!

No lah, VT is selling, both BCorp and BCorp ICULS. His family members selling more than him buying, and don't assume his family is NOT selling on his behalf.

If VT is genuine, restructuring will be a big windfall for both BCorp and BLand minorities. If he's not, we all can be screwed up BIG time. Besides a billion worth of Btoto ownership (will be valued higher if it's sold to a third party cause it's a controlling stake,) BLand owns plenty of lands close to city centers beside buildings in golden triangle. Even chopping BLand into pieces and sold separately, BLand can easily worth more than 1.00 per share. Similarly, BCorp is worth significantly more than its current share price. Sad thing, though, VT is full of history conning minorities, resulting his extremely LOW credibility. Retail investors get jittery just because VT is selling actively (My goodness, he's trading more than I do despite the fact that he has so much work to do in restructuring his empire) and he seems to enjoy sending out mixed messages or he simply don't care.
I have not sold my BLand and even after selling my BCorp, I am buying BLand to replace in hope that the 0.38/03.0 exchange will be honored in BLand's restructuring. It's stressful watching seeing BCorp and BLand falling like there's no tomorrow, more than 50% for BLand and 40% for BCorp since their last peak.

What's worse, simply look at current situation. VT has so much confidence in the new CEO turning around BCorp that he and his family has to SELL BCorp shares from less than 0.50 to current less than 0.30. What's VT trying to convey to the market, he has no confidence in this Jalil that he would screw up his company that he better start unloading his ownership?
If he's genuine, he would wait it out, showing minorities who follow news to have confidence in his pick. Or, instead of throwing his shares into the market, he could find fund managers willing to take stake through off market transactions.

Goldking9789 When he said he's venturing into Vietnam Toto, he said it's a blah blah deal, instead it's just a investment running Toto for Vietlott that takes a certain percentage of the revenue. When VT said dividend post Kyoto Four Season deal, there's none! When he said dividend going forward many years back, the promise is not KEPT. If that's not conning, what IS!

nobody can squeeze VT lah, why else BCorp is at such a ridiculous price for such a long time? VT had already shown you, his board will propose to buy his private co by issuing BCorp at less than 0.30 while valuing his private co at fair value! He'll never loose in his own playground, we minorities are.

It's one thing VT asking his proxy to sell, if any. It's another thing VT is selling. VT claimed himself to sell anything as long as price is right. So, by selling BCorp at 0.32-0.34, he himself is agreeing that the price is right for BCorp right now! That's why I raised the question, "what's that telling you?"
