Read MPI vs Amkor on the new IC packaging. Why your smartphone is getting smaller and smaller? Its new technology. Wafer fab produces right now less than 20nm. You need smaller package like those QFN, leadless IC. This is not assembly firm..they design and manufacture packaging for IC.

I am not saying if I am still holding or I had sold. I am just being neutral and want people like you to talk with facts, not just pluck something from CIMB. Obviously you had not done your study on MPI

Jolie, what is MPI contribution in smart phone industry? die attach, wire bonding, moulding are processes. Its roughly the same across industry. Unless u have a higher precision machine. Otherwise, its the same. So, what differentiate between all these semiconductor package maker? What is the technology you are talking here? Rm5 being very high, or is it reasonable or is it undervalue? Mind to share with us how you judge RM5 is very high? Base on operating cash flow? Base on EPS? Base on historical price? Base on NTA? Why is RM5 high for you?

wow...this means both of them are allowed to produce MLF and MLP package for 10 years? RM12.8 mil will be deducted from their year end financial report...this quarter net profit is RM12.7 mil...meaning it will wipe out basically Q3 net profit from their yearly financial report...

This whole year is going to be technology bull, finger cross. with MPI still have good quarter result to declare and higher dividend, I see no point to dispose.
