Sumatec fails to submit 3QFY20 financial statements, share trade suspension continues
KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 3): Sumatec Resources Bhd has failed to submit its financial report for the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2020 (3QFY20) within the stipulated time frame under Bursa Securities' Main Market Listing Requirements (MMLR), and therefore risks a continued suspension of its shares.
In a filing today, the bourse said if a listed issuer fails to issue the outstanding financial statements within five market days after the expiry of the relevant time frame under the MMLR, the trading of securities of the issuer will be suspended, in addition to any other enforcement action.
In view of the above, and in the event that the company is unable to submit the 3QFY20 report on or before Dec 7, 2020, the trading in the above company's securities will be suspended with effect from 9.00am, Tuesday, Dec 8, 2020, until further notice.
However, as the company's securities have been suspended from trading since Nov 7, 2019, in view of the winding up order against the company, the suspension of trading will continue until further notice," said the bourse.
If the listed issuer fails to issue the outstanding financial statements within six months from the expiry of the relevant time frame, delisting procedures will be initiated.
To date, the company has failed to submit five financial reports since 3QFY19.

低股价

跌幅深
同样由于“老千股”“向下炒”的财技，其复权后股价往往都经历过很深的跌幅，标准为当前股价相比历史高点跌幅至少在80%甚至90%以上。

基本面差

Metronic Global takes MNC Wireless directors to court
KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 14): Metronic Global Bhd, the largest shareholder of mobile applications and multimedia-related services company MNC Wireless Bhd with a 18.75% stake, is taking the latter’s board of directors to court.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Metronic said it has commenced legal action against MNC chairman Wong Kok Seong, chief executive officer Christopher Tan Chor How, executive director Pang Siaw Sian, non-independent non executive director Kua Khai Shyuan and independent non executive director Thu Soon Shien
It also named MNC Wireless shareholder Datuk Seri Dr Pang Chow Huat in the suit. Chow Huat is also the founder and managing director of Sanichi Technology Bhd.
Metronic had filed an ex-parte injunction application on Oct 7 against the directors for an injunction to restrain them from taking any steps to implement the proposed rights issue, establishment of an employee share option scheme and increase in the authorised share capital of MNC Wireless.
The injuction was also filed to restrain the company from amending MNC Wireless’s memorandum of association, and to restrain Chow Huat and his nominees or associates from subscribing to the rights issue and employee share option scheme.
The hearing of the injunction application was fixed on Oct 11 and dismissed by the High Court on Oct 12, 2016. Metronic said that it will be applying for further interlocutory reliefs.
