largest customer group, accounting for some three quarters of the company’s
total sales. The remaining demand is attributed, primarily, to the oil palm
industry and downstream refining, the power sector and others.

Export demand remains strong in the US, Latin America and even Europe, on the back of continued spending by oil majors.Crude oil prices have been holding steady over the past 2-3 years. The benchmark Brent crude oil averaged some US$111-112per barrel in 2011-2012, respectively, and about US$108 per barrel in1H13 – having recovered smartly from the slump in the immediate aftermath of the global financial crisis. At current level,prices are supportive of exploration and production activities.

After reading the above debate between all market experts and considering the current market scenario, technically, I think I I will wait at SMA (200)-- Price 0.132 or lower, to be on the safe side........

I think my research for PM Corp is almost done....I have my contacts at PM Group of companies too...I was advised by my contacts in PM to monitor for the movement of PM stocks...say at least 1-2 weeks before making any decision...

The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract is likely to trend higher next week in line with the bullish cash market, dealers said.

Affin Investment Bank vice president and head of retail research Dr Nazri Khan said the local market is expected to receive a boost from the US debt-ceiling talks breakthrough and the pre-UMNO-election rally.

"The fact that President Barack Obama is considering a Republican proposal to extend the debt ceiling for six weeks will be the catalyst needed to spur more market optimism next week.

"We expect local equities to also ride on the positive global sentiment, alongside bargain hunting," he told Bernama.

He also expects the local market to receive more foreign fund inflows amid rising investor confidence ahead of the Budget 2014 announcement and launch of the two biggest 2013 initial public offerings (IPOs), namely, UMW Oil Gas Bhd and Westport Bhd.

On a Friday-to-Friday basis, October 2013 rose seven points to 1,789.5, November 2013 gained 6.5 points to 1,789.5, December 2013 was six points better at 1,789.5, and March 2014 advanced 8.5 points to 1,787.5.

Turnover declined to 21,582 lots from 38,508 lots traded last week, while open interest slipped to 46,374 contracts, against last Friday's 46,528 contracts.

Meanwhile, the benchmark FBM KLCI rose 9.19 points to 1,785.75 compared to 1,776.56 last Friday

The consensus forecast advised that Pantech Group Holdings Berhad would outperform the market. I am not doing any propaganda here but hopefully it can happen anytime...TP 1.43-1.50..

The 12 month price targets for Pantech Group Holdings Berhad have a median target of 142.50, with a high estimate of 143.00 and a low estimate of 142.00. The median estimate represents a 46.91% increase from the last price of 97.00.

If we have a look at Pantech fundamental analysis. Pantech PE ratio still reasonable, with growth potential and average high dividend yield. Pantech Target Price is RM1.42 by TA Securities, RM1.43 by RHB and RM1.28 by Kenanga. I will continue to hold because I think Pantech fair value is worth what the research papers have stated.

I am very positive it will happen...but God knows when...

jvei...yes and no actually......I strongly suggest that you do a thorough homework on Pantech to know the fundamentals of this company....low risk and I would say it is a very safe investment...at least mid term....3-6 months or more.....

Bro hiddengem...My chemistry with Pantech is very strong...enjoyed a few rounds of dividend plus some gain....Solid Company and within strong sector....I think I will hold this counter for indefinite period......Who knows the price might double up...Everything start with a dream...
