Hibiscus is a oil producing co which owns it oil fields. Unlike the oil majors, they spend very little on exploration or development of oil field. With huge capital invested in its business; the results look very disappointing. Sept 2022 to Dec 2022 oil price is at about USD80+. Look at the net Profilt as a percentage of revenue.
Sept to dec 2022. Revenue is 713M. Net Profil is 70.47M
June 2022 to Sept 2022. Revenue is 604.8M. Net Profit is 135.3M
Despite increase in oil production, the % of net profit is down from 20% to less than 10%.
Most Oil majors got above 30% of revenue as net profit

50:50 JV with Citagold which is Agong's company. Sure get the project as sole supplier

Looi Hooi Keat had been buying since 11 Feb 2022 at $0.817. Obviously someone still buying at below 45cents with plenty of Q sell but not throwing to buyers. IPO at $1+ in Dec 2021. You think really got so many sellers. Mr Loo Hooi Keat now owns about 39% of the shares. Add the amount own by other major shareholders and also the company buy back (Treasury Shares); and I think a sharp rebound to above $0.60 cents is easily achievable in a short time frame

Probably the sell down exuberated by the negative good will that is accounted for. Remember that the expenses went up 5X. There is considerable cost involve in this acquisition because it involves 2 countries . Its a producing asset. Contribution from this asset would be substantial. Oil price is USD. Ringgit down would be another PLUS

Current NOSH is 543m shares. Acquisition at $130m to be paid by $20m cash and $110m by share issue of $0.49. Total no of shares issue is about 225m shares. New total shares after completion is 768m shares. The vendor of One River Power Sdn Bhd will get 20m cash + 29.41% of the enlarged KPower share capital. Now market cap is 30 million. Owe Maybank 10m. Fully subscribed rights issue is 40m. If drop to 20 cents ( the rights issue price ), mkt cap after rights is 60m. Minus Maybank debt of 10m. Balance is only 50m after burning so much retailer's cash. Who will buy?
