In the Budget also announced that the government will provide a grant of RM245 million under the Domestic Investment Strategic Fund to upgrade smart manufacturing facilities.
A sum of RM150 million was also announced to provide to investment agencies such as Matrade, MIDA and SME Corp to implement promotional programmes and expand export markets including for market development grants.

Agricultural economy
Najib outlined benefits of about RM6.5 billion for farmers, fishermen, smallholders and rubber tappers. Voters from the agricultural sector have a higher weighting than their work, which contributes to less than a tenth of gross domestic product. "Notion has adequate insurance coverage - RM350 million for property damage, RM217 million for business interruption up to 18 months. Preliminary estimate of the loss is about RM150 to 200 million. ...above emergency restoration probably need 1-2 months to stabilize...can help half the damage after that ... profit sure got hit but at least has built the safer net .... now is to judge at what price range is considered the base for recovery :P (classic example of risk and opportunity)

Can the profit expectation be delivered?
1) Wah Seong expects to perform better in FY17, saying its order book “remains healthy” at RM3.7 billion, with RM3.5 billion for O&G, RM231.1 million for renewable energy, and RM40.9 million for industrial trading and services
2) Average of net margin from 2006 to 2014 is 4.07% (lower band of 2.xx to upper band of 6.xx). If taking the conservative 2.00% net margin, RM3.7b order book translate to RM 74m, about EPS=9.5?
3) Taking 15xPE, 9.5x15 = 142, potential value for share price =1.42 (much room for upside from current 0.935, >50%)

if the price stabilize and side way around 1.00 -1.10 then can consider the strong base ... Owner & MD, Mr TEH Kiak Seng start collecting so he himself is also seeing some value at this level :p
Quarterly profit of 20m (EPS = 4.66) shud be able to average out for full year. Estimate FY EPS = 18.64, with Div payout ration 38%, expects 0.07 dividend......applying x10PE, share price could value at 1.86 (compare to now 1.10 more room for uptrend?? :p)
So long no new launching due to slow market sentiments, lately only launched Pearl Saujana, probably can boost the Sales Revenue later...
The Group achieved an average take-up rate of 78.7% for its ongoing projects, with a total Gross Development Value of RM1.58 billion; and unbilled sales of approximately RM132.78 million. These should contribute positively to the Group’s earnings for the next two to three years. (net margin of 32%, translate to estimate unbilled profit of RM 42.47m, hopefully can cover for 2H2017)

PROPOSED DISPOSAL OF DEVELOPMENT PROPERTY LOCATED IN LITTLE BAY:
- AUD180 million bank borrowings will be utilised to repay the following bank borrowings to reduce the Group’s total bank borrowings of more than RM2 billion as at 30 September 2017
- The Group anticipates an interest saving of approximately AUD5.33 million (approximately RM17.64 million) per annum pursuant to the above repayments.
That is about additional EPS=0.33 annually
