Got div or not, still reluctant to announce

Posted by snowball2000 > 2023-07-10 16:07 | Report Abuse

Sure got la, 0.056/share already approved in AGM ma... announcement should be within this month, be patient... ;)

Posted by snowball2000 > 2023-07-10 16:08 | Report Abuse

0.056/0.88 x 100% = 6.36% in dividend yield, comparing to FD is not too bad..... ;)

Similar price action happened 13 Feb 2023, slightly over a year ago. Then, stock came back down hard.
Interesting to see what tomorrow brings. Normally, it shouldn't repeat, but it's hard to say as this would only be the 2nd time.
Sometimes, if a stock wants to rise to make new highs, it needs to shake off the weak holders first. This can be like today's and Feb 2023 price action to fool people to think this is just one-time wonder, one day wonder. After 2, 3, 4 times, traders will queue to sell and then, when enough traders does that, the stock eventually take off with a lot of traders without a position.

For me, I'm playing the long game. The counter is ridiculously under-valued. Lower price is a buy in my book, trouble is the volume on this counter is so thin, it's hard to accumulate.

Good company - net cash position - generous dividend policy - conservative mgmt - cheap landbank - higher than industry average - landbank located in one of the fastest growing townships in Penang.

Property developers like Tambun Indah is the main reason behind destruction of fertile agricultural land. Thus, creating artificial shortage of food supply and denying animals of their habitat. Greed of humans is the cause of extinction of many living beings. They are proud of pigeon hole homes and drown in false satisfaction of living in cubicle similar to prisoner cells. The difference between city dwellers and prisoners is, prisoners don't pay. They create a living atmosphere, full of stress, pretend to be busy and abandoning their parents, cry over booming living expenses for basic necessities. When they get a few days off they run out outskirts and yearn for peaceful life which they destroyed. Silly educated fellows.

Interesting , actually Tambun is doing great in mainland with big piece of land. BatuKawan area brought the value up a lot

Posted by LeRainmaker > 1 month ago | Report Abuse

Yes if you look up closer at mainland area beside BM, you'll notice most of the land are from Tambun for decades.

Tambun is surging.....my decision to pare down on Gadang and load up on Tambun is the correct one...let this black horse run the race course first and when she loses steam, to switch over to Gadang.

Mark my words. Gadang will be the NEXT beauty queen after she awakens from her deep slumber. When RTS Johor and data center project pick up full steam, her construction diviaion will start posting profits. Moving forward, her construction division is likely to bag a few projects in MRT3 / Penang LRT. Her property division will go full steam ahead with Kwasa Damansara development - the last parcel of prime land at Klang valley. Her renewable energy divisioj will chug along with the solar power project in Sabah coming online.

Tambun growth story is intact. It just needs to deliver strong quarterly results throughout 2024 / 2025.

To answer your question, what is there NOT to like about Tambun ?
Net cash company
Superior profit margin
Cheap land bank
Proximity to Batu Kawan Industrial Park
Rising property prices
40% to 60% dividend policy

As at 31 March 2024, seven (7) on-going projects of the Group with a total Gross Development Value of approximately RM802.6 million achieved an
average take-up rate of 72.7% and unbilled sales of RM141.1 million which should contribute positively to the Group’s earnings for the next two to three
years

Poor market give me the opportunity to accumulate more..

Posted by DividendGuy67 > 2 weeks ago | Report Abuse

My entry price is 90 sen. Still holding on to this ridiculously under-valued stock. If this company breaks up, its Net Cash position is higher than market price i.e. getting the entire business for free. It was freakingly difficult to accumulate this extremely thinly traded counter at 90 sen, to be honest, I didn't get enough before price started to rise. But content to have it, and it's enough to help my entire portfolio to make new all time highs again today. Thank you Mr Market!
