Of course many also have locked in profit since then and/or reloaded. Is a good run and proved what TF and geng said when Q4 report out that the next Q will be even better.

Some ppl holding since below 1.00 and more recently a lot ppl bought from 1.60-1.80 period when AA begin to get attention after last Q4 2015 QR.

AA counter has so high volume daily and shares already bought also huge. Theoretically BB/Syndicate have less influence unless they have huge fund like Soro's to influence.

A lot ppl don't want to sell at this price. Waiting to go up at least 3.00. Good sign. If TF n the geng vested so much their own money this round, sure they will make AA better and that fundamentally will make the share price higher.

Sure BB/syndicate want to take this opportunity to squeeze to make more money, but as we can see ppl here are holding up as well. Eventually the price will go up, everyone will make money. So actually no hard feeling to BB/syndicate. Majority already can hold.

Majority ppl don't want to sell. Wait till raise up to at least 3.0. Good sign.

Overall market has turn more positive like yesterday. Should rally up today. See can breach 2.60 today or not.

Now use the 1 lot trick to push to make the price up...so obvious is goreng now to the point over burnt already...you que to sell see can sell or not...all those chased high today hoping higher is gone case. That plan is still in the air...nothing firm yet so I think will not have any concrete effect on actual share price or IBs TP for now. TF just want to maintain the hype since AA got huge attention n publicity with the 'fabulous' QR...Hopefully the QR 'hot air' will not disperse so fast. At least keep the up momentum for 1-2 weeks to around 3.00 first.

r Moi, interesting deduction there. Operating profit is a critical component for any company's sustainability. IF, I said IF any of this leak AND cause the sell down is true, but the market somehow still bullish (price gap up) and IBs revised their TP to much much higher. Fx gain is still a gain? EPS up, is up regardless from operation profit or not?

So I don't know. Not true? IBs just go along with masses/market sentiment? What you all think. For me just be alert, invest/trade with eyes wide open, ears listen carefully, and think logically n critically all the time.

Wonder why all those ppl with negative perception on AA stock price movement NOW. Is it just to prove their points? Even IF there are some risks to their concerns, but if other factors like FX gains, associate gains, jet fuel saving, etc negate all those concerns and make the share price goes up NOW, or days to come, as long you able to buy lower and sell higher and MAKE $$ that is the objective you do trade/invest right?

Huge debt, not much actual operation gains, etc (if there any real risks) we KIV for NOW because the market seem like don't mind (price gaping up now). We make profit first. If the price move down for whatever reasons in weeks to come, quarters to come then as a good investor you should be prepared to mitigate the risk.

In short, if the reward vs risk ratio is favoring reward, the market also lean towards making the share price goes higher, IBs also perceive the share to go higher..just go with the ride with your eyes open and make your money. Simple as r Moi said. You may have your own reasoning or rational, principle etc but majority ppl here to make $. Good to be informed, good to be prepared, good to be able to plan ahead; but better still if you able to make $ go into your pocket.

Before QR out those holding AA shares wish spectacular result, those not holding keep saying today gap down sure below expectation. Now QR out already; those holding wish gap up tomorrow, those not holding keep saying will not go up, sell now...so typical. Keluang_Man is right.....

Lol, 10-20 sen paper loss is huge loss? But you expect to earn at least 80 sen above or hit to 3.50 as per some IB TP? Don't be ikan bilis mentality. Is good to dream big but not very often the risk n reward so loop-sided. So if think 10-20 sen is huge loss, then by right you should expect 10-20 sen gain also....cuz is HUGE gain. LOL.

Simply put; your cut loss limit and TP for your trading are so out, how can you be successful in the long run?

Some c.ontra players that are almost due will unload n reload back today to capture the next hike up. Actually the Ex date today just nice for the drop today to unload and reload for tomorrow QR report release spike. There are more to the eyes than just buy n sell versus to maximize your resources usage n p.rofit. Some ppl just blur-blur.

Clap, clap, clap....TP1 2.48 sound reasonable. Those TP by banks from 2.80 to 3.50 have to see the actual result tomorrow and see if IBs, foreign funds appetites, plus other big buyers like EPF, plus overall market sentiments.

Ex date drop may not be obvious as the QR release sentiment the next day will propel the price up. Plus minus10-20 sen is very well within the range between today and Friday to touch 2.38.....Chinese said 2.38 good number sign.....Ohhh 'Sign'....

Yes, Sign still have to chew his shoe if this week hit 2.38. But at least while chewing the shoe, he can imagine the money he earned and where he can shop for a pair of new shoe.

With 800lot at 2.25 and hit 2.38; minus trading platform fees still got slightly over RM10k profit in paper....wah Pavilion or KLCC shopping for shoe like going to pasar malam for slipper only....
