what you said is more of a general effect - most stocks, more or less if your theory is correct. In a nutshell, is whether you want to cash out all your stocks holding now and wait to re-enter come Nov/Dec as you said. Not cherry picking what counter can hold n what counter cannot hold.

That is your decision to stay on the side line totally. But if you mean being a wet blanket by saying not holding any particular counter e.g.AA here, than I don't see logic in what you written.

On top of the domestic problems facing us, I also worry about the many uncertain factors outside Malaysia like the US election, US & Nato provocations against Russia, veiled US threats against China, EU banks troubles, post-Brexit transition period, Fed action in near term, to name a few ... all of which may wear down confidence in the world markets and turn sentiments super bearish in a jiffy.

I have sold 30% of my porforlio stocks in the past few days but undecided on how much more to sell before the US Presidential Election on 8 Nov. Although it appears that Clinton has an almost unassailable lead over Trump now, with most of the liberal media biased, and women and ethnic minorities cool against him, I am pivoting on a strong "back from the brink" Trump win.

A Trump win will relieve the tension along the Russian border with Europe and generally with US, but because the establishment, Wall Street and the elites are riding on Clinton, such a shock can precipitate meltdowns in world markets if kneejerk reactions go awry and uncontrollable.

I want to be able to pick up stocks come Nov and Dec if opportunities arise.

In the world of market syndicates, manipulators, big players, retailers, they will be also drum beaters to promote a counter and also another group to sell negative news - but whether the good or bad news have valid effects on the counter or not short or long term - it does not matter to the so called rumor mongers that like to play on your psychology only.

The writer's rational for THIS article is base on the budget GLC wave trends with reference to previous year chart as reference ONLY. Nothing more nothing less. Arguments like FA, forex, theme play, or other factors even there are very valid in stock selections/movements and timing, are not considered for THIS article's stocks selection. You made your intention clearly in your 1st posting that you do not like to attack other ppl, but the outcome of what you did still do not bode well with the image of a professional investor consultant and as a person in general.

1) You said is up to the client to decide; but you said without hesitant you refused to accept his fund just because he was with someone else before - by refusing you deprived the client the opportunities to improve his/her financial standing and family.

Is like a doctor telling the patient to continue to take the medicines or treatment regimes prescribed by another doctor when he knows a better treatment methodology or meds. All doctors have taken the oath that basically to do their best ability and to give correct judgement at all time regardless.

Most ppl here don't really know what is calculated risk with regards to PN17, when can take risk, when cannot enter, etc.

No regularisation plan submitted and approved = suspended counter next week. (habis cerita cepat)

Pending regularisation plan = Within 3 months have to tell if their regularisation plan will have positive change in the business or not to certain extend. That is when IF, IF you want to take risk can have at least some solid confirmation (IF you trust the regularisation plan).

To those that really want to take risk (cap sei kai), but not yet holding Perisai share; now is not the right time yet to enter as it just confirmed as PN17, a lot of volatility now. After few months when all the dust settled, price stabilized; and there some confirmation IF this company has possibility for turn around or buy out then MAYBE can enter to take the risk.

Just look at historical data, companies that went into PN17, how many manage to turn around, how many eventually get de-listed, what is the average time for all these take place, and what happened to their stock price in between?

Inefficient company or insider ppl too greedy to fill their own pockets?.....oops does not matter, just avoid this counter.

...this can be seen from all the posts he made (on BP or other counters) are mainly to drum up for buy or sell calls depending his motives. However as his calls sometimes cannot sustain or change the stock up or down as per his ulterior motive objective (due to time factor and other more powerful forces like real demand or lack of it), Calvin's calls turn out some are correct and some are terribly wrong AND..AND Calvin explain why some of calls are wrong because his calls had ulterior motives to begin with and not base on real solid circumstances. Just like some 'hot air news' to hype up attention to buyers, it is hard to explain when it failed to materialize later.

Fact #1 - Calvin calls are like 50/50 - some make money some lose
money. So he just highlite those up, and avoid answering
those that went bad.

Fact #2 - Calvin calls have his own ulterior motives - hence Calvin

He broke SC disclosure rules he will answer to SC not to anybody else. If he just got a slap on the wrist from SC, you can question SC if you want to but whether you get a satisfactory answer from SC is another story. The same goes with anybody who followed his stock calls/tips and make profit or loss, he is not obligated to answer or responsible for your outcome consequences.

Other than that he did not break any rules. If you want to question whether is ethical, conflict of interest or not what he did, or did he had any ulterior motives when he published those calls or blog articles; probably only he himself, God, and maybe OTB to certain extend know the truth.

His philanthropic kindness, donations, etc is a separate matter all together. If he did any wrongdoings against any establishment rules, humanity rules, ethics, etc; his kindness do not correct or reduce those wrongdoings if any nor it can be used to justify his actions.

In a nutshell, he himself should know the best he should continue or not what he is doing (regardless whether is thru publishing in i3investor, facebook, his own blog or any other form for that matter).

Will not comment on Perisai as I have not evaluate or interested in this counter. But oil price is just a major operation cost to AA/AAX but you need to understand deeper how AA/AAX manage this factor.

Another concern here is although all the awards sound good and positive; big majority already priced in. E.g. July news already went up 26% at its peak before dropped back and latest push up round for the latest good news already up 15%.

Calvin mentioned this counter for long term; but for the current BP state, dependency on gov. awards, looming election (next year?), some concerns also should be placed if all the hype now and future possible awards scenario will change dramatically after the election of worst this is just the last push by 'invisible hands' for certain individuals and groups to make a final kill before the election.

If you really read and understand the meaning between those line in below article you will understand the oil price will at stalemate for sometime because OPEC group producers will face rest of the world especially US shale oil. In other words OPEC lost much of its influence because if they cut production till price go up like like $70-80, rest of the world will happily increase output to earn more while OPEC group producers will at loss of billions income. Country like Saudi has tried to flood the world market with their low cost oil production in the hope other producers will either go bankrupt or 'kow tow' to them to stabilize the output and price for the benefit of everyone but that has not worked well because the rest of producers like Iran will not want to lose their market share. In the end oil is still over supply. Can every oil producing country in the world agree to cut production? Very slim chance, and since different countries/producers have different production cost, they will try to out do their competitors. Hence in the end it is still up to the market supply/demand equilibrium to dictate the price naturally.

Overall YoY according to below article from Jan-Aug is neutral (not much changes) for Aviation industry in general for Asia Pacific; so I am expecting AA/AAX being the leader in low cost segment for this region will actually able to do better loading rate, etc. So that the AAB/AAX Q3 result may way better compared to its own YoY result.

Today, is last day of Q3. We will have to see any FF reporting new TPs base on expected Q3 result in weeks to come.
