This is first time I used mostly a whole month to buy a counter, everyday wait at 2.61-2.63 for sell down from the company.

Hi Kee, crude oil price will surely affect certain industries & currency. But it will have minimum effect over Oldtown. In fact, weak RM is positive to old town.

I choose oldtown (consumer stock) because it is resilient & defensive, leading brand in niche segment, decent dividend payout & bright future.

Also, it won't be affected politically & economically so much compared to other politically linked stocks.

But after that, you will hardly see sellers willing to throw shares.

If you refer to top 30 shareholders list, mostly all are institutions.....

You can hardly see this kind of golden chance, you will know what to do if you have done enough homework

I woke up at 9:30am, so I really regret now, i would have used all my available fund to go all in when price was RM1.01. What a miss.

Before split, I strongly believed it was deeply undervalued when price was below RM2.20, so I sailang.

After split & at 1.40+, I believed it was fairly valued.

At 1.17 now, I believe it is undervalued. I see opportunities when price is weak.

I may be wrong. Don't follow me. Time will tell.

Last few sell down, I waited 2.61-2.63, all matched. Now they have not much stocks, the lowest should be at RM2.66.

By looking at the transaction pattern, it was caused by disposal of treasury shares from the company, I guess today sold 1-1.2 mil, another 579k-779k to go.

CAB & Padini already moved, soon Oldtown will follow suit

The Company has started to sell its treasury shares since 4 April, it was also the date I started to buy Oldtown :(

The company held 11,779,200 treasury shares then, now only left 1,779,200.

It closed 2.73 on 4 April, now price is still RM2.73

Just buy with extremely cautious if you want to buy, company may sell down again.

I don't agree with Felicity this time. A contract is subject to null & void if any one party fail to observe the terms & conditions of a contract. Simple as that.

If a buyer sign a contract to buy a house but fail to obtain bank loan within stipulated time period, surely vendor can call off the deal according to the terms in the S&P agreement. Nothing is wrong.

Meowyx, I don't go all in today but buy little by little. If tomorrow offer cheaper then will slowly top up. I can't predict the price but I can accumulate progressively :)
