Effect for long term investors (more than 1 year) & short term trader (holding 6-12 months)

Mr Chong, what do you think on the dividend payout by the management? I am quite confused on this part.

I thought I used to be long term investor, I did that, bought & keep for many years, life is busy.

Now, when I have more time to participate the discussions with many forum members in i3, I have the tendency to become short term trader.

My question is:

What is the effect of paying good dividend payout like Lii Hen & Poh Huat comparing to Hevea who is busy on repaying back loan until recently & opted for low dividend payout.

The 3 are on my top priority observation list, so I like 3 of them.

Some childish people like to flag whatever they have seen. So just ignore them.

You can just ignore that flag if you think you have done nothing wrong.

If you bought Hevea 2 years ago & keep buying on monthly basis, suddenly you sold all. That will be counted as capital nature, no income tax will be charged.

The next is Poh Huat. Margin wise, impossible to beat Lii Hen, but once the orders & revenue in RM can match with Lii Hen, then I will win both, as I started equal % in Lii Hen & Poh Huat.

Good export company, but still not rewarding shareholders as what MD said when interviewed by BFM.

This kind of stock once you invested into it, lock it in the safe & you can totally forget it. Just re-look after 10 years & enjoy the fruit then.

Hi Abismail, I have both at the beginning, quite equally. After Lii Hen & Latitude released QR, I focus on Lii Hen at the moment.

I still keep Poh Huat & see how the QR next month.

If as good as Lii Hen, I will add more. If as bad as Latitude, no choice, got to sell & switch all to Lii Hen.

But someone is also blocking at RM2.69, haha, funny
