And remember, some investment banks have vested interest in AAX. When they issue a higher TP in current circumstance, they are hoping they will be able to exit with minimal loss if possible.

No operator would want to hold AAX at such a high price when everyone foresees that there will be a huge forex loss this quarter. They might as well push down to buy back at much lower prices. Come back when forex rate return to 4.2 and below. Although forex loss mainly due to unrealised loss on USD borrowing, this loss will sooner or later be realised if exchange rate does not improve in future.

Should exchange rate remains at 4.4 come this 31 dec, forex loss would be around RM180m. This is due to 2 issues:-
1. Unrealised loss of about RM70m due to retranslation of USD loan
2. Fair value movement recycled from cash flow hedge reserve of RM107.63m (refer note 13 of FY15Q4 report)

Having said that, the core operating profit should be more than sufficient to cover the forex losses for FY16Q4 but the basic EPS based on net profit wouldn't look much promising compared to FY15Q4.

You are wrong, the pushing down of price is not done yet. As you see that there is no selling queue now, there will be suddenly sell down out of nowhere and the selling pressure will appear again. They will resort to various tactics to accumulate as much as possible and they might actually monitoring our discussion in this forum and adapt their strategy over time.

This quarter will determine whether AAX able to achieve a 4-quarter continuous rolling profit and effectively bring its EPS to above 10 sen. If they are able to so, then the stock would be valued at double the current value.

There are only 2 possibilities.. 1 is an accumulation tactic by operators. The more retailers squeezed out, the better, as they can gap up significantly without obstacles and let all those ex-retailers and general public who don't dare to buy now to enter after the result is released. Another possibility is the operators are really making an immediate exit due to some reason not known to us and they are disposing slowly to the market who thought able to obtain bargain purchase.
