For the past 5 years , this stock's net profit has a CAGR of around 10.5%. Adjusted price of 0.297 sen on 4th Jan 2016. How much is the price now? Of course the CAGR won't match that of semicon counter, but there is still some capital gain + dividend.

As for below comment, let's take a look at the price before ex date.
on 29/12/2020 price was 2.64 before ex interim div
on 28/6/2020 price was 3.13 before ex final div.
The price for today's closing is 3.14.

The only risk now is whether Miti will approve their pioneer status application or not. Their pioneer status end on Dec 2022.

Sometimes, talks is easy, these type of misinformation is because people just want to buy cheap or talk using their arsehole.

because some ppl have misconception where they think high dividend yield is good counter, but they forgotten the price will be adjusted accordingly. Im here to enlightened them.

Please talk with facts not fart. Total RSS volume is only 20600 shares. How to corner? ASM n PNB control 54% of shares.

Why disappointed? Expected ma, this type of counter doesn't fluctuate a lot. Furthermore EPF is still selling. The executive director in charge of estate is buying, no worries. This FY should have good dividend. Q3 result should be very good.

They did bought a plantation in 2019, which is 10% of their total planting area at that time. They are currently carry out replanting in the new acquired area. Palm oil tree will take at least 3-4 years to bear fruits. It takas the new tree 7 years to be come productive.

Jaya26, spot price won't benefit UP very mucd. They sell their product forward partially up to more than a year.Please check the annual report. In a rising market, their ASP will be lower than average MPOB average price. However in a declining market, their ASP will be higher. That is why they can provide quite a consistent dividend yield even in bad years. Hopefully, next year their dividend will be RM!.

Johnzhang, the reason I invested in this counter is not only because of the dividend alone. It is way too under value currently. The NTA is more than RM3. If the company is able to grow its revenue and profit consistantly, I think you will gain many times more than whatever divided policy set by the management.

MNRB does not have a formal dividend policy? Damn, better sell then.

I do attend the AGM, I don't remember they mention about the 50-60% payout ratio.

Below are one of the item ask during AGM, You can get it from MNRB's website.

34)What is the dividend policy going forward for the

Financial Providing shareholders’ returns will continue to be the
Board’s priority.
However, the Board also needs to consider the capital

Sorry typo, FY2015 to FY 2019 dividend none.
If I'm not wrong, many moons ago, half of RE insurance business have to go to them. But the government have open up this sector few years ago.
Since then, they have not been doing well. I believe after PH take over the government, MNRB have also clean up their act. They become wiser not to underwrite those high risk re-i policy. That's why It has slowly recover from the slump.

FY2021 Div 3sen so far.
FY2020 eps 17 sen but dividend only 2.5 sen.
FY2015 none FY 2019 none.
