Assuming RPS is traded @ 95sen (5% discount) & warrant is traded @ xsen.
Opt1 sell PR @ 21sen. Buy 2 RPS & 2 warrants from open market
Cost = -0.21 + 2*(0.95+x)
Opt2 stick to the whole exercise. Subscribe RPS & buy 1 RPS from open market
Cost = 1+0.95 = 1.95
Equate both opt x = 13sen. I think the above is worst case scenario. Stick to opt2 downside is taken care of. Choose opt1 may suffer opportunity loss if things turn good.

It failed to bounce back after dropped with board market because ppl refuse to get back in. Sentiment is bad & no one wan to fork out money for the multi proposal. Those trapped r desperate to find an easy way out. They dump mother share & buy PR. Tats way it drop further though alr very low. Everything will back to normal soon.

The investment thesis on Insas is partly base on Graham's NNWC. The more interesting part is it shows vast improment in earning recently. From EPS 9sen to 24sen. Tats the most interesting part. I believe it'll back to $1 level once all the uncertainty is over.

Mr. Koay. I opine we show look at Insas share price in longer time frame when determining volatility. For the past 1 yr share price is almost flat.
2015-01-30 05:59 | Report Abuse
Option pricing model does give Insas warrant a very low price..... All those switch to PR are expecting sudden spike in volatility (goreng). Switching alr suffer some cap loss for many ppl. On top of tat still have to fork out money to buy PR. I wonder at wat share price they are anticipating to justify their action.

MEGB losses has reduced from 167mil to TTM 36mil. SMRT 4Q report is released end of March. If SMRT imports 31% of MEGB's P/L into it's income statement, it would be P/L for the period mid Feb til end March. 31% of 1 1/2 half month losses (not necessarily loss because MEGB stared making profit last Q) from MEGB is further split between SMRT&Creador. It would be insignificant after further offset by SMRT's increase in earning. How about the subsequent Q? Well, if they can reduce losses from 167mil to 36mil in 9 months, we should be optimistic about outcomes in June. I opine there's no issue regarding to the acquisition. The only thing needs to be comfirmed is acquisition cost of 112mil is a mistakenly reported by CIMB.

Sell mon buy PR if bullish about Insas
Sell PR to reduce losses if bearish about Insas
Sell everythging to cut loss if Insas is hopeless
Do nothing & go through the complete exercise is can't foresee the future

2015-01-29 11:46 | Report Abuse
Or calculate in terms of NTA:
Purchase price should be 31% * Total outstanding share * NTA
Again, much less than 112m
2015-01-29 11:43 | Report Abuse
Enterprice value = Market cap - total debt + excess cash
Premium = (112m - 31%Enterprice value) / 30%Enterprice value
2015-01-29 11:41 | Report Abuse
They said they pay 60sen per share to buy 31% stake. How could it be 112m? If they pay 112m for 31% stake there is a huge premium indeed.

Even if PR theoretically worth nothing at current price but the 2 inherited warrant got time value. Instead of selling PR I'll buy more PR at resonable price.

Tats the nature of most IT stocks. Everything has been priced in even not yet materialized. By the time forecast earning is materialized price would have hit the ceiling. Not very used to it. Lol.

The bankers open up a few betting counters (structural warrant) on ksl. There'll be some suppression on price surge this year. If u talk about value being fully reflected in share price I opine should be next yr. Just keep for dividend while waiting. Cheers:))

If ksl alr in fund's portfolio Dow won't affect ksl too much. They'll accumulate on weakness. Notice why they bought yesterday? Why not the day before? Because most ppl sold on div ex. They believe more will come after next Q good result. Tats way I keep ksl & sold most of my other stocks in time of volatility like this.
