Good to read that directors have started to buy back.

I think it would be pivotal if we can just hold the current level.

I am glad to say that RM0.80 may not be tenable today, this week, at least : )

Good to see fewer sellers today. It is too early to conclude but the possibility of a turnaround is there.

The share buy back is timely. Latest Balance Sheet shows that HEVEA has RM113 million in its bank account. The company has more than enough firepower to stem the fall in share price if it wants to. What is required is the desire to do so. Sometimes the market only needs a mere assurance that the directors will intervene.

Maybe someone should complain to the Securities Commission. This is clearly an effort to sabotage a share so that the syndicate can bottom fish.

Beza. I too have observed and I agree with you that on a regular day, the volume for the mother far exceeds the warrant. So many lies but yet people react.

I am not worried too. Just angry to see a good company being run down by unscrupulous people pretending to do a public service.

So those guys who think they can talk the price down; they should think again. As it is Hevea is already way undervalued.

I think the directors must intervene at some point. This Company has over RM100 million in its bank account. That is serious firepower.

I do not agree with you. You write well but your intentions are insidious and therefore bias and untruthful. Only novices will be taken in by what you wrote.

Looking good. I think we can break-even.

Lower profit due to 2 week closure of plant. This is not a macro pervasive problem that will persist for a long time like poor oil prices. This is a once off problem that has being priced in. Notice how the price has not moved for the past 6 months. The directors are aware of this problem and they are still converting their WBs to mother shares as late as a few days ago. I think we will be OK. I will buy more if I see an opportunity.

Its good that Invest1188 showed his hand.

If no good why would anyone keep converting the WB. The company should be debt free and rm100 million in the Bank account by now. No need for more money. Obviously the dividends will be good.

I reckon its worth more than RM1.50. Probably even over RM1.60. I am still buying ; )

I wonder what their agenda is. It all sounds fishy.

Hear hear. Though we went nowhere today, our day will come (soon). Let us looks forward to that day.

younginvestor92, that PE of 3.88 is incorrect. Hevea has had a 4:1 stock split last year. The up to date PE should be 6.92 given the current price of RM1.20 and a issued share capital of 462 million shares. 6.92 PE is a lot higher than 3.88 but it still represents IMO good value for money.

A eps of 4.8 sens plus a 2 Sen dividend would be very nice. 2 more weeks.

I think its pretty difficult to shut down for 2 weeks. The Hevea factory has more orders than they can handle.

No argument with you but if you are driving down the price, I'll buy a bit more.

I have reviewed all of Robertl's articles. I cannot find anything really wrong with what the directors did. I really do not understand why particular persons are so angry with them to the extent they "appear" willing to shoot themselves in the foot. As someone else here said it, in time we will know who is sincere and who is not. I am personally confident with the fundamentals. I think it is a testament to the directors who have being able to turn a highly leveraged company to one that has RM100 million in their Bank a/c. So what if they do not pay substantial dividends in the past. I think it is prudent to pay off all your debts first before you start giving money away. I know that is old fashion thinking and as 52% owners, the directors really do not have to give any dividends. They can keep it all to themselves. Its their right. Anyway they have come out with a dividend policy of no less than 30% of their profits. This is generous enough so there should be no more contention about this. Unless one of these fellows can come out with something more substantial, I see no reason to sell my stash. I like Hevea's fundamentals so far and feel confident with its management.

Stick to fundamentals. If the price falls, I will buy more. That is my stand.

And that is the beauty of the current situation. Minimum downside. Upside I think very very much higher and it could happen as early as next month!
2016-07-25 12:21 | Report Abuse
I agree. Volume at lower prices too low so accumulation has to be done at current levels.

The last time the Yoong family sold Hevea shares was 15 Jan 2014. They have not sold shares in 2014, 2015 and 2016. Thet have being buying and converting warrants to shares.
