It is a good news but i do not expect a major price surge due to such announcement.

In other words, LOI is just a notice to the tenderers that the project owner wish to proceed with the successful tenderers on all kind of preparation leading to the binding of LOA.

LOI is just a notice to proceed with preparation of Letter of Award, contract documents and all kind of procurement planning, staff engagement planning, etc. However, the government can anytime NOT to proceed with LOA. In actual fact, there are many successful project tenderers in Malaysia do not proceed with anything with just receipt of LOI, the most they will proceed is some planning which involve very little cost.

zoozooka, IJM won LRT3 2km tunnel contract, NOT MRT3. The project has been running since few years ago from Bandar Utama (PJ) to Johan Setia (Klang).

lesson learnt from the past many crisis like these 2 days. the best way is to sell & buy back later. even thought you have to cut loss or cut win. the DJI down fall can continue for sometime as the stocks over there have been over bought. the Chicago Panic Index is shooting high at ultimate uptrend. Let's be smart & not to go against the trend. nobody have any clue when is the end of the down fall. Today, I am too, have to sell off all my stocks at pain.

if you are trading for few days, buy & sell every few days or everyday, today may be your worry day. If you look at the fundamental & upcoming EPS this month end, you should be sitting beside a swimming & enjoy your cappuccino.... forget about daily up & down, just look at the price next few weeks.

if today price up can be kept until last minute, then expect to have early trend reversal after today trading. However, confirmed trend reversal will only be formed with 3 consecutive price-up days.
