If you want to invest in this counter the only thing you can do is buy and hold. Unless you have insider news else that the only way.

2) Investors can still keep stocks if price below cost.

I advise you to check this out and understand the disposal instruction before jump to your own conclusion :-)

If investor bought Padini above 2 or more then they can keep and will dispose it later when the price move toward or above their cost. If not then should should dispose it for the reason of so called shariah complaint (what a joke!!!)

Guys that my understanding from the above, so don't blame me if I miss communicate the above.

The Shariah compliant thing is non-sense..... every six month they have the list updated. Perhaps that is one vehicle for them to make money..... If base on that list then you are going to be busy with buy & sell.... 6 months later they may update again and say Padini and some other counter that are excluded this round become Shariah compliant.... hahaha......

I rather Padini stay away from the Syariah compliant permanently..... this way we can play our own games...

You define it that way.... Not me :-) Those throw think is bad and want to move on other counter hope they got one really good one (most of the time not). We can buy from them and sell back to them later during next quarter excluded me (as I don't sell that much unless really need money for some expensive gift or present to family members)

Still the same advise if you can't hold then don't buy. You will get tense when it drop and you need to throw before contra expire and may loss money as well.

Certainly can buy for future potential grow if you have holding power. Hope that help.

No need to spend time sharing the potential future of the company :-) just monitor and back when other throw then keep for next two quarter for the dividend....

Yes, those Syariah compliant fund manager won't invest at all or they plan to pull out slowly so depend how much these fund manager have already invest in there. If a lot then it will take some time for the share price to move as they need to pull out whenever the share price is up. Honestly I did not know the exact rule of it. Because initially is Syariah and now no longer the case :-(

In general it should impact the counter..... just not many know at this stage I believe.

TLTAN - you refer to trading before one year? If yes then definitely they can't do that because it been lock and illegal if they do that. But after one year they are free to do that using their own trading account if they wanted too....

If and only if they are integrity person then they should not even use wife/kids/relative trading account to do trading before one year :-)

Go back to basic, they are given 3 years to acquire a profitable company. As long as they able to do that on second or even third year they are safe. Honestly most of us are buying the future (with little gambling factor here, hehehe)

Also, my other guess and thought is the top management may buy some time for it before they announce it as they only able to sell and trade their share after one year!!!!

So beginning of August may be a big time for the top management to let go some of their share after work so hard for a year :-)

As I share before I ONLY worry they did not give dividend or cut the dividend payout :-)

We need to know the criteria for a company to give dividend. If they maintain or give more dividend (even if the profit for quarter is down) then really mean something.

Just use this for your reference :-) or I advice folks to study more how a company give out dividend and base on what they able to do that :-)

Vic Lee - I think there is mis-communicate on the NTA. I believe the 2.96 is 'Net Asset Per Share' not NTA is NTA is 2.96 there should be no brainer to buy this counter. the 2.96 you refer above should include the non-tangible asset as well. My intention just to make the correction so that folks does not confuse and mis-leading the decision to buy.......

Cool. As expected 2.5 cents. The profit is down a little bit which is fine but the revenue is up. Also as long as the company stil making money. Also this profit Iis compare to th previous year quarter. I'm confidence that the whole year revenue and profit will be better compare previous year.

honestly, I only worry when the company did not given dividend haha.... which they never fail the investor for the past 10 years.
