I am a small investor and hold only 6,000 CIMB shares. How many DRS shares can I get? Certainly less than 100. I can probably make RM 50 from this exercise but have to pay RM 10 stamp fees n another RM 10 for courier service, what about parking and fuel...Many small investors like me would not want to go through such hassle and don't bother to apply. To retain capital, the most impartial way is to issue bonus shares. In this way, all investors, big and small would benefit equally.

EPF has to keep RHB's share price depressed so that it can get its drp shares at a lower price, this means more RHB shares. Same thing for Maybank.

Directors not recommending payment of interim dividend again. Had they been more proactive, they would have invested some of Keck Seng's huge cash stockpile over the past 18 months and reap huge profits.

Just over 3 years ago, cepat was trading at over 90 sen a share, over 30% higher than the price now but the palm oil price then was only around RM3,000 a ton.

We got our final dividend on the 6th of May last year. Hopefully, we can get this year's final dividend by the end of this month. It is none of our fault.

Supermax has gone up too far and too fast. Just three weeks ago, it was only trading at below RM4. Is only logical for it to come down.

Now assuming they sell 30 million Maybank shares so that they can get their drs shares 20 sen cheaper. They get 120 million Maybank shares in return. This means a saving of RM 24 million. Which one makes better sense?

Just ASB alone will get over 100 million drs shares. Imagine if they can get their shares 20 sen cheaper.

If we keep our Maybank shares for another 6 to 7 months, we will also get the interim dividend expected to be at least 20 sen per share and generally paid in October. That means a return of 7% in only 6 to 7 months.

The directors are picking up more Keck Seng shares in fire sales.

It was trading at below 40 sen less than half a year ago. Almost 100% gain in less than 6 months.

If Maybank's share price is maintained at 8.59/8.60, ASB would have to pay 30 sen extra for their drp shares. I don't think their dividend entitlement is affected.

Whatever price Maybank's two largest share holders sell now, they are going to get their drs shares at a lower price.

@TreeTopView, those who did not own any Tenaga shares prior to the interim dividend ex date in Sept last year won't receive the dividend. I bought my Tenaga shares about two months ago. How nice if Tenaga till pays me the 22 sen a share dividend.

@ali baba, Tenaga is now trading at RM10.36 and it is still up 2 sen. It closed at RM10.92 yesterday. It should have fallen 56 sen. Can you explain why?

Existing players are expanding their capacities while new players are jumping into the fray. The glove industry is really overcrowded.

Should reach at least RM4 by end of next year and that is a 40% gain. Think long term.
