No bad news from US-NK tension over weekend. Hope AA can rise further today. I might sell my trading portion before ex-date to bring exposure back to a safer 95%, have not decided yet but when BWC called to buy extra AA last Friday he said it was for a trade only. Lets see what big picture signal this week.

What is happening to the AAC sale?

Clearly the market is disappointed as it has taken a lot longer than expected. Some people now say it may be delayed further to year end or maybe even aborted

Then why was Icon8888 so so sure as far back as last year? In Aug last year - this is more than a year ago - sifu Icon8888 already started promoting the AAC deal and even suggested a possible TP of 5.00 when the AAC deal is finalized.

Icon8888 promised the forum the winning bid will be announced in Nov 2016 and lured readers to buy by saying insiders are already buying. When there was no announcement in Nov last year, Icon8888 continued to suggests the deal was near completion in Jan 2017.

BWC warned Icon8888 many times that AAC deal may not be so smooth and should not be over-promoted. But Icon8888 didn't care, he kept using strong words and also used his gang of fake IDs to instigate readers to buy.

Of course anyone can be wrong in the stock market. But if anyone was warned repeatedly and yet continued to talk so big and even used a gang of fake IDs to support his views, he clearly wanted to mislead readers on this forum intentionally. Maybe they were trying to benefit their AA-CW trades. That is dishonest and maybe even illegal. .

I don't simply say all these, the proof is clear when looking at Icon8888's old posts below.

Who knows whether going up or down after ex-div? To do that you need crystal ball or be a fortune teller. So we normal readers have to decide if adjustment after ex-div is going to be big or small. For me if big picture positive, then it may be risky to try to be too smart.

If big picture still positive, i dare not sell and try to buy back lower. I used to trade the mini corrections but i learnt fast and got smarter already.

Wow, good rally since results. Glad i bought more AA this morning and raised exposure to 100%. Waiting for my 12 sen interim dividend going ex-date next Wed on 13 Sept. Interesting to see how price will adjust after ex.-date. If big picture still positive, i dare not sell and try to buy back lower.

Big picture has improved further overnight. No crystal ball, can be wrong and can be risky but there may be opportunities for short term trades for tactical investors. The big picture improvement should benefit AA over the coming weeks.

BWC showed many times that using big picture can make good money. With big picture, AA up or down can also become opportunities. Don't need to go down to the level to make money dishonestly by making misleading calls on forum. Icon8888 and his gang of fake IDs should take note of this. If need to they can ask Investo nicely to teach them.

Aiyoh, this forum a lot of fighting and vulgar posts. Guess same everywhere - got people over-promoting stock for own intentions and got those who cannot accept other people's opinions especially if they are negative views on stock. So end up fighting until using vulgar words. All these is unfair to public who wants a healthy place to discuss the stock. Focus on the stock and be civil lah.

US stock market fell last night. Not very much so should not affect us here today.
Looks like a lot of people in AA structure warrants, no wonder got a few people here (some working in gang) making very strong short term calls on AA, probably trying to move AA to benefit their trades in structure warrants. .

I think BWC is the only one i see who makes predictions on AA but clearly has no hidden agenda as he keeps reminding readers he has no crystal ball and can be wrong. He also keep reminding readers to do own research and not follow anyone's calls blindly. These proves he is just sharing his views on AA and not trying to manipulate readers to follow his calls. I think we readers can easily see who to believe.

Up a few days already so using by behavioral finance method i guess AA will close flat or little change. :-D

Prediction of its earnings can be very wrong because its earnings depend on several factors beyond the control of company. That is why it is a cyclical stock with low PE.

In the stock market, need to have open mind. When an investor thinks only his view is right, this is the surest sign he is wrong. With a ding dong stock, opportunity costs can be a serious consideration for those looking to manage the various risks to their return.

Still got people who can't read old posts in comment history - maybe they fail primary school. Let readers and admin decide who to believe. Look at their track record and the quality of their posts readers can easily decide who is telling the truth.

Yah, have not seen Investo for some time. Investo is a she? Didn't know :-D

She is also 95% invested in AA so she must be very happy with AA rising steadily and going ex-div 12 sen next week. Thanks BWC for the big picture views.

Yes, her trades and % invested all proven in her old posts. She doesn't simply talk without proof like some readers.

Will end when reach next catalyst. Mean time either hold and wait or if you are more aggressive, move some to faster moving stocks. No right or wrong, depends on your investment philosophy and risk appetite.

Looks more like a cyclical stock to me and so forward earnings can be more unpredictable than people realize. Not a buy and hold stock to me.

Ok, all set for AA today. Hope it rises instead of fall. Agree with BWC that results actually is good. What about the reverse takeover in Indonesia, what's the impact?

Deferred taxation good to know but may not help make correct call on AA. More i listen to BWC i understand why he keep saying keep eye on big picture.
