Quek family wont sell the share cheap. They are billionaire, the gain is too small to sell it now.

The exercise will push the share price further up up up...

Quek Junior may acquire more shares from open market and become a SSH. GCL will have another representation on board. Lets welcome Quek family on board and drive THHE biz to new height..

THHE should worth more. Quek family must have seen this point and decided to put in more $$$

McDermott also one of the major in O&G biz, they wont simply form JV if they not confident with THHE.

So, lets watch the show from tomorrow onwards until EGM on 3 June to finalize JV with McD that will further transform THHE into one of the key player in regional O&G play :)

Also, Net Asset per share appreciated with the additional capital injection by Quek family :)

THHE should worth more after the capital injection :)

but EPS will be diluted... hope THHE can generate more income to increase EPS, which i think THHE will secure more projects...

Pulau Indah-based yard operator TH Heavy Engineering (THHE) is set to team up with McDermott of the US to give its two other larger rivals, SapuraKencana and Malaysia Marine Heavy Engineering, a run for their money in the buoyant Malaysian engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning space, writes Tan Hwee Hwee.

Fresh from shedding its PN17 status — a classification assigned to companies under distress on the Kuala Lumpur stock exchange — THHE is looking to seal a joint venture signed with McDermott last December during its annual shareholders’ meeting next month.

Once the joint venture is approved by THHE’s shareholders, the Kuala Lumpur-listed outfit and its US partner will proceed to swap 30% stakes in two subsidiaries, Berlian McDermott and TH Fabricators.

Berlian McDermott is responsible for carrying out transport­ation and installation contracts in Malaysia.

McDermott has assigned the derrick pipelay barge DB 30…
