Try imagine an aircraft which worth USD253m start parking at airport ,
And airliner need to pay airport when it is parking .
why all airliner spent money to grab market share of scheduled flight ?
It will be great if AAX able to narrow losses.

Preliminary Operation Data shows good result.
when aircraft fleet size maintain same and it capable to carry more passenger
it shows airline successfully increasing aircraft utilization rate.
anyhow , 50m passenger carried made airasia the 5th largest airliner in asia pacific after China's Big 3 and Japan's ANA.
Airasia even carried more passenger than Singapore Airline Group now.
Lets spend some money and time to squeeze out some player at Thailand market and start increase market share in Philippine and India market.
This is crucial strategic move for mid term growth.

Load factor at 4th quarter increased purely rely on their capacity cut .
Airasia is different story .
Aircraft fleet slightly decrease 1 aircraft.
Meanwhile , Capacity increased follow with passenger Carried and load factor .

AAX 4th quarter preliminary operating data shows capacity reduced 8% as they cancelled route .
2% increment in load factor exchanged with 8% capacity and passenger reduced result in route cancelled .
Business and market share seems getting smaller but yet aircraft fleet size still maintaining same result in high CAPEX and lower revenue.
AAX share price seems cheap but is it the result of their continuous losses and the uncertainty of long distance budget air ?

Everyone is just like aviation expert and want to shut down this and that country business to stop loses.
Any of the proposal of this idea can tell how many percent of airasia business come from transit ?
Anyone have suggestion to prevent lost of business opportunity after Lion group overrun airasia in term of fleet size , market share and load factor if airasia shut down oversea affiliate ?

Airasia already relief from massive forex losses if ringgit didn't break through 4.5
Just Airasia jet fuel hedge is too defensive as they hedge jet fuel at USD6x.
Other airline already dumped fuel hedge and this make the most different in earning of AA and its competitor

Low fuel price will be heaven to airasia if and only if ringgit able to maintain above RM4.5
In term of business , TF really need to reorganise oversea affiliate
Airasia is the only airliner making loses at Philippines market , lion air just receive delivery of new aircraft and make them airliner who own most aircraft in SEA, this enhance their dominance at Indonesia market .

AAB not necessary will trigger share buyback even AGM approved it.
they didn't trigger previous share buyback even they received approval as well.
You have to make it clear ,
They get approval , but not necessary will trigger it.
If they don't have approval , they couldn't trigger even if they want.
They just get this approval for "just in case"

Many LCC tried long haul route . Non of them are success
Can you name any success long haul LCC ?
The business model itself having issue .
If you buy an aircraft and fly short haul
Each aircraft able to fly 2 to 3 return trip between 2 destination .
Just multiply the passenger with the air fare
You can guess how much short haul earning.
And let's compare to long haul
At most it manage to fly 1 return trip between 2 country
And look at current airasia long haul promotion rate
How much you think AAX able to make ?
Most important , LCC seat space is limited .
People who capable to holiday at Europe wouldn't choose LCC as it is unbearable to sit in such limited space with such long time .
AAX business mainly rely on teenager or mid-low income who wanna fly North Asia or Australia but with limited budget.
Their customer base are niche compare to AAB
