With so many incidences of corrupt practices, latest being MARA ( not to mention the perennial reports of abuses/wastages/leakages and what have you) how can investors have confidence in our market. Time to get true detox of the 'worms' irrespective of who they are and however mighty they think they are. These and the falling ringgit is hurting all of us (GST include ). Meanwhile stay away from the Bursa but if u must get involved, reduce exposure.. Best wishes

A company is only as good as its management team. Time to get more qualified and entrepreneurial Bumis to take charge instead of having ex ministers/politicians at the top. Ever wondered why these old statesmen still get top post and hence not giving younger and aptly qualified Bumis to ran the show. Not only at FGV but many other GLCs. I know it's 'payback' to the services of these ex ministers/politician but they had their fair share. Time to relinquish and give the younger generations opportunities.

Avoid such counters for the moment. There is no corporate development to suggest a possible uptrend in the share price. Better be safe than sorry

The syndicates took many retail players to the cleaners, simple as that. And we contributed to the frenzy driven by herd instinct cum greed. What is so special about this company to justify its shares being traded to almost half a billion units in a single day? In retrospect some would have regretted ... Lose money but don't lose the lesson. Better to be slow and steady via investing in companies with established business models with strong management team and proven track record of business growth and profitability. Best wish to all come tomorrow.

MPay have been relatively quiet of late. Time to start the engine and vroom. Don't expect it to shoot up like some counters lately but a 10% appreciation before end of August is a realistic bet. Keep an eye on APFT .... If you have some risk appetite and some cash to put aside, you may want to invest in this counter. Some corporate developments are in the pipeline. As always, trade within your affordability and trust your instinct with counters like this, PDZ, Sumatec, MPay etc.....

If you have the spare cash with an investment horizon of 6 months to a year, I would opine that your investment in Salcon will be rewarding. Low gearing, high cash position, well managed company with purposeful diversification into properties and fibre optics. Good luck to investors. Trust your own instinct.

I would think this is a long term buy. Can't go wrong with companies involved in food manufacturing. Only disappointing thing is it is not well supported though trading well below its NTA. Hopefully it will show its true colors soon.

This company is under rated. It's a well run profitable company trading at 40% to its NTA. You have to look at the medium to longer term. Anyway...you make your own assessment and investment decision. Good to put aside some spare cash in this company.

In the real world, most of the rich will act selfishly. There are good ones out there but too few to make a positive influence. Someone once said that our nation has spiraled downwards not so much of dishonest/selfish people particularly politicians but because good people chose to look the other way. Collectively we can make a big difference if we continue to spread goodwill and pass word around of the negative things these evil people are doing to our nation.

Our family and most of our extended families and close circle of frens were once staunched supporters of BN in particular and maybe MCA in general. But not anymore. The dirty politics that BN is dishing out and the lies have gone beyond decency. Our beloved country with the unique tolerance of each other's race and religion have gone to the dogs. Once upon a time we could drop in our Malay neighbours for coffee and tea and chat about almost anything under the sky. Now my children feels that such a mutually respectful and harmonious relationship is almost dead. Instead of reviving good inter racial n religious kinship our current BN chose to hype on racial and religious matters to please a certain group of people with the sole aim of clinging on to powers. The current generation is feeling it and the next generation will pay the price of what BN did or did not do. Instead of censoring the extremist groups worst still some senior politician seem to support them. Likewise, as aptly said by Mr Koon, MCA instead of ticking out the extremist, they chose to out blame on the opposition. Come on where is your sense if decency. You can bluff some people all the time, all the people some of the time BUT you can NVR bluff all the people all the time. MCA .... If you want to survive and be relevant go back to basics ie revisit the purpose of your existence and do the right things right.

Dow Jones up 200 points. Fundamentally strong stocks like LBS will gain and move up when market opens tomorrow. It is a relief that the politicians in US have finally come to the table. Cheers!

Come out with some positive news/announcements to give hope to the many investors who believed in you, arising from the rosy statements made when you people become major shareholders. Come on.....

I really pity all those small investors who believed the gung-ho press statements by the new sponsors promising so much. And many investors were sucked into this well painted prospects and now they lost so much. I hope the sponsors are reading these threads of comments and feel bad about giving false hope. Personally, I lost RM10k and I know many others lost much more. Well I have moved on with regrets and disappointment. Have a heart for the pour souls. Yes, we all want to make money but not sent false signals and get people worked up and then you milk them. Someone once said, I rather be a person with integrity than a wealthy man without principle.

A lot of people, sorry not a lot....many many people believed in what the new sponsors have to offer and many of them ended up as collateral damaged. I pity those who lost so much averaging down. It has been a week of downward trend for Sersol and it is still happening today. Let just hope that there is hope out there and it will show itself this afternoon

This counter has potential if we read between the lines of the new sponsors' earlier comments on the company's prospects. Of course intention is one thing, execution is another. Notwithstanding, I believe there will be good things coming their way.

At least there is one common ground ie we all agree that LBS is a good stock. The TP is anyone's guess. We don't have the benefit of the crystal ball and can only substantiate our predictions on hindsight. To me, I trust the stewardship of the MD and I believe he knows best being nearer to the frontline line. With a healthy cash pile in place and opportunities aplenty, I want to believe that LBS will move be up beyond RM2

Let this be a lesson albeit a painful one for many. Trade within your financial capabilities and risk appetite. I know it is easier said than done. Notwithstanding, I emphatize with the many losers of their hard earned money. The only hope left, if there is, is for the sponsors to come out gun blazing and buy up their stocks. After all they came out to paint such a rosy picture and got many small investors excited. Hope keeps us alive and that is what most have left

By all means Sersol can leverage on their unfair advantage to get millions in contract works but don't make the small investors suffer. I appreciate the humour in some comments but really many people are hurt. I lost 10k in a day and though I can afford it, it really hurts to see money lost on such speed and manner. With tongue in cheek...many Ah Longs will be waiting to further add to their misery.

Well every investor hopes to make some money. Some will lose of course. It is a zero sum game but it ain't right to milk the small investors in this manner. Come on new sponsors...support ur share price.

To the new sponsors, pls Don't break the hearts of the so many small investors who believed in you people. Never else in this part of the world will you see a counter drop so steep after you people going public and telling people of how great Sersol will be. Come on do some shares buyback to support the price from further dropping

Have a heart for those who lose their hard earned money. I don't think they are greedy. Perhaps they put too much hope and belief in the new sponsors of Sersol. Unfortunately the drop is just too steep and too fast for the many small investors to cut loss.
