Anyways, I can't tell you what the freak is going on with the loan stocks but since you sound like a speculative investor (you can't be suspicious and still be here at the same time,no?), my take is - buy only what you can afford to lose. Since you are already in and just holding, DCA your way out of it if you are not comfortable. Good luck.

Did you all notice the 508k conversion.of Loan Stocks at mr1..few days ago. Why would some one want to convert at mr1, when they could buy cheaper from market..Could this be a psychological play on us small retailers to buy when they are selling. But I do not know the terms of the Loan Stocks conversion.
As we all know VT has lots on his sleeves and trust them on their words to give them time to do good for Bcorp!

Goldenhorse I tell you from factual feeling of buy now looks like a line series of collection later interco sell off, I feel like Berjaya is crap, so what got plan, still run quarterly losses, never pay staff salaries on time. What I strategicly think, they need to impair in 2021, most assets and investment first before flourish . Sell off non core assets means impairing it at large and sell cheap cheap, cuz assets which gives no return is liability. Say impair 80%, looks right to market price.

lovetzy I won't judge anyone. Just to tell all the newcomers, my personal opinion is that this will be a real change, where the true value will prevail, and all who trust will be rewarded nicely. Spending so much money to buy shares, the best way to think about it is by imagining yourself as the CEO of BJCorp. If you are just a puppet, will you use so much money to buy the shares? If you are not confident with the future prospects after restructuring, will you spend on much money on the shares of this company? All in all, this is just my personal opinion, I have no intention to influence any parties, do your own judgement, all the best. (I commented so early not because I'm desperate, it's just because I woke up early to start my work, all the best!)

VT claimed that Batikman's core responsibility is to focus on Investor Relations. Firstly, in MNCs, investor relations is not a very senior role, more like mid-level exec. Secondly, in Bolahland that role translates to Kaki Bodek. It's important to read between the lines.

Why go through so much efforts with restructuring plans when it's so easy to make money with small fries investors? :P

sailang_now Initially I was very bullish but ever since VT & associates started selling like there is no tomorrow and the weather at Berjaya changes so fast at short notice, just trade with care.

Also already one month has passed and Jalil hasn't shown anything concrete apart from Batik shirts & football. We will only know the direction of Berjaya once he comes out with a concrete strategic plan and the next Qtr report is out, since Covid19 cases is increasing again and MCO might be reintroduced affecting Berjaya bottom line.

Will you be getting a sell signal from him as well, I wonder?
