reading you guys comments, i think tunku is really into knm for the long term. knm crown jewel is borsig. its worth 1.5bil i think. plus others assets. worth hundreds or millions.

i think tunku like knm assets and are slowly buyinh up shares to gain control. say buy up to 20% at 22 23c. 20% knm shares is about 600mil shares. spend 160mil to control assets worth a billion. cheap

smart investors are normally ppl of few words. and they are definately not short term traders.

plus knm has more than 3bil shares outstanding. its always easy to get an extra 100m shares in the open market

so far done 2 PP at 32.5mil@40c

left 104mil shares

assuming if doing at 32.5mil@40c again still have about 3 times more.

perhaps later PP tranches will be listed at higher prices or remain at 40c

either way listing all PP leftover at 104mil shares will take a while.

It is the assets that knm has that the new owners are interested in. The assets in knm are worth about rm900mil. How much do u think maa spend buying 334mil shares at an average of about 22 24c? Guess

180 will be a fools dream. I say about 100 is the max. Above 100 world economy is hard to function and everything will be expensive. Btw knm is not oil n has producer. It is only a process n equipment supplier. Oil price does not have direct influence on its prices

that being said, maa may continue to collect at these prices now. but i doubt they will buy until 30%. no point. maybe 15% i guess.
