gushan YTL has paid about 30 sen in total for past 3 years (just using round number lah). Share price has come down from $1.70 to now at $1.40 So what is the gain? Seems like got nothing. Personally I think buy before announcement and sell when dividend news send the share price up.

There is a lot of frustration which is very understandable. After almost 8 years share price is way below IPO price. Those who bought at high price must be really tired of waiting. The last time TA Enterprise unlock it's value was giving out TAGB shares to shareholders.

Same thing can happen if TAGB were to list it's hotels as a REIT. That will unlock it's value and reward shareholders. Tony cannot support the share price as he is close to the limit of MGO. Share price has been going down on low volume. Don't worry too much. Be patient.

Don't forget TAGB was at 22 sen and went up all the way to 39 sen in just a few months. I believe this year it can rise up to 50 sen. stay positive. I believe some good news is coming.

My suspicion is the big sharks are trying to confuse investors, smaller fish panic and sell, they accumulate slowly. Hold on tight I will.

hkc1969 and pitbull It looks like Trump Vancouver construction revenue has already been taken into account last quarter. Revenue this quarter is therefore less , profits as well. But if we look at the 1.2 sen / share profits earned and also Net assets have gone up as well to 59 sen from 57 sen the results can be considered good. If the results can be repeated over the remaining quarters we could be seeing about 5 sen/share. If P/E is say at a conservative 10 the share price can rise up to 50 sen. In my opinion we should see the share price finally going past it's IPO price of 50 sen which was way back in 2009.

The counter is rather undervalued. It could pop in june if little bay is sold. Really really hoping for it.

Chang , I truly hope the land will be sold and the money put to better use as sydney property prices cannot be expected to keep going up at current pace. There is a possibility of a correction, the development could get held up for years.

Just watch the volume in recent days. Even though TAGB has three times the shares (more than 5B) compared to 1.8B of TA, the volume of TA shares transacted has been much higher. So someone is accumulating. My feelings are TA will do better in the coming days. Just my 2 cents.

Don't forget TA !! I hold both. TAGB go up TA surely go up. TA goes up not necessary TAGB goes up. TA has the added advantage of being more undervalued than TAGB plus it has the potential of a sudden correction to true value as there is a chance for the selling of stock broking business or going private.

Don't forget TA. Seems to be getting excited, watch the volume.

See why I feel TAGB is so undervalued.

I believe TAGB would have recieved offers from some very big property players in sydney that have the capacity to develop the property speedily to take advantage of record high property prices. What could be a factor to sell or not is the offer price and also the exchange rate for AUD/MYR. The AUD has lost some of its value lately. If the conversion brings good value the deal could go through. Just my opinion. Lets see.

Lets see what is said during AGM.

There should be some information available at the AGM 2 weeks from now.

Next few months does look promising.

Chang24 Thank you buddy for sharing. There is good potential for TAGB. I am not worried about the counter but beginning to feel uneasy about the DOW. It is now so bubbly, a burst could send world markets into a downward spiral. Construction counters are especially vulnerable as the projects take years to complete. Uncertainty hits them hard. Thinking of reducing exposure by about 20% so as to have some cash reserves. Still thinking about it. Not sure what to do.
Any suggestions?

Reminds me of kite flying as a kid. Pull pull pull it goes up up up. Then let go , come down down down. Then start pulling again. Each time releasing more string and the kite keeps going higher over time. I can see TAGB flying in the coming months.

TA is giving out higher dividend at 1.7 sen. Lower dividend for TAGB could show need to use funds for developments. Not a bad thing really.

This is not to say Max Foo is wrong. Not at all for he is right about some people spreading false rumours to pump up share prices. In order to understand blog postings by individuals here it is good for readers to read into the past postings if possible for the last few months. You will get an idea who is sharing sincerely and who is dumping nonsense.

A lot of the older investors including my selves have been through some terrible market crashes so tend to be very very cautious. Tony and Alicia are like that in my opinion. They are willing to wait longer in most cases before taking action. That's why you will see this slow approach. Investors get frustrated. But the good thing is that they have laid a solid foundation for the next generation.
