Oh gosh! You all have forgotten how Bumi Armada share price crashed from RM2.00 to RM1.30 after the last rights issue. That time Bumi Armada used the rights issue for new projects Armada Kraken and the rest too. Earnings became negative after that due to impatient of assets values despite earnings. So retail investors please be careful yourselves. Asking cash from investors for projects with no guaranteed profits will only spell trouble for share prices.

Bumi Armada rights issue...will EPF support? If EPF doesn't support, EPF will sell crazily. How about foreign shareholders and retail investors like you and me? Do you want to give them free cash to execute projects?

Rights issue to execute contract means---I have no money to do projects friends, so you give me free cash with zero interest. I do projects over 5 years and pay you slowly with initial zero value rights issue till 5 years later ??90-100% value of rights share if lucky. Friends you bear all the project risk. So are you willing to give me free cash now??? This is what we call "Rights Issue". Don't believe what that HLG analyst said. It looked like distribution (selling volume) from buyers who bought at 0.72. They were selling at 0.75 to retail investors. Bumi Armada is a "Delay King". That is why it will take another 3 months to slowly move up to 90 cents. Buy now also can, buy later also can.
