These moves mark a continuation of the broader shift away from tech seen in recent days. Wall Street has dumped shares of artificial intelligence plays as the growing likelihood of a September interest rate cut from the Federal Reserve bolstered optimism in the broader market. On the other hand, that’s largely helped small-cap and more cyclical names, which are seen as bigger beneficiaries a lower borrowing costs.

Just a year ago, RHB Bank was slightly higher than CIMB Bank. Today it is RM1.50 lower and the gap appears to be widening.

On April 19th, when most markets were in deep red due to Israel/Iran conflict, EPF supported MBB at 9.70 (thus making the trade looked artificial) and RHB was trading about 5.49.
Now, MBB is up about 36 sen since then, this one stays around the same level.

Tomorrow morning, break 52 wk high 7.04......

....then afternoon, close 6.80, down 20 sen :p
