....EPF is his whipping boy...; in 2003 he took private MTC to inject satellite buiness in it , later he renamed it Measat and placed a large chunk of shares at RM4.7 ( in billions) to EPF on listing, the price fell to 0.6 in only 2-3 years...! and thereafter between 0.3 to 0.5 only

The above are some examples of the owners of PLC who won't share good fortune with shareholders... Try to avoid companies that are owned by them !

Many many years ago, AK took the old Maxis private, thereafter took out Maxis' foreign business to be his 100% owned entity (Aircel included) (he thought that Aircel was a jewel), later to list again the new Maxis at higher valuation...during that period of time Aircel was excellent and expanding, a case of he wants everything good for himself only....Same like Vincent Tan taking MOL private only later to exchange Friendster (a 100% unit of MOL) for Facebook shares.....!

This is the year of reckoning for AK, Aircel goes bankrupt in April (reportedly he lost RM40b), Maxis is under high pressure to cut pricing, Astro is under threat from pirated TV box, and Armada will very fast be under water given the current scenarios.....! Moreover the govt might probe on his sale of IPP to 1MDB

AK is a wise businessman, he won't inject good money to save bad investment... Aircel case is a good example

With debts of 10b and oil charter business is dwindling fast, high cost of maintenance and depreciation, and underlying shares of 5.87 b, what do you expect from it ? Even at .10 is too expensive valuing the company at 587m ! Moreover given AK has lost tonnes in India, he won't have the fund to save it
