Really? Some people like you, talkyourkok also commented about the similar negative things about my view on O&G sector. I am not sure if they have deleted their comments. But it seems they are quiet now after seeing Oil prices and stocks fly high. Well, I don't blame them because they concerned about the prices of O&G stocks has not moved after I posted it. Yeah, true. But the rally came after few days later (still as I expected)...

In the nutshell, be patient. My view is not for 1 month or 1 year period. It is short-term, reacting on the opportunity arises from my own technique.

As I told in my today's article, the rally across the board of O&G related we can see today is just the beginning. Some people can't accept the recovery in oil prices, even in current sustainable oil prices, as they have suffered a lot in the downturn previously. Well, u can choose whatever O&G stocks u like from A to Z. U can also say this, those, that, there. But without your strong justification to prove me wrong, is just MEANINGLESS talk. What I highlighted here is the IMMEDIATE beneficiaries and turnaround story and cheap valuation.

I just checked Reach went up from 29sen to 32sen today while a Sumatec is still lagged behind but will follow suit soon. I am sure MoneyFace is in deep depressed because he faces no money.

Reach Energy cash shrunk significantly, yet insti investors still keen on the stock. It's a Kazakhstan O&G operator. Same goes to Sumatec. As it is SPAC, its financial looks clean while Sumatec build it from scratch. It is normal to see lower cash generated because of lower oil price environment. It takes time to recover. So, as the current oil price is sustainable, we would see turnaround in Sumatec in 2H17! I didn't mean oil prices to jump or spike, but sustainability with positive uptrend outlook.

Somehow, I like both of them as they are deeply undervalued!

Take a look at construction companies, who have always had court cases. For example, WCT Holdings, yet it had managed to shot up to RM2.40-RM2.50. The shot up still could price in potential earnings despite on-going court cases. In a nutshell, we only take into consideration of consequence of court cases after it comes to conclusion. Because, sometimes the defender, in this case Sumatec or WCT, could win the case too.

Everyone can say this, that, there. At the end of the day, they are wrong. Just like what happened to Hengyuan, refining company. Good results la everything yet 2Q results came F-ck lower. Its not oil price to be blame. But everyone get conned by those syndicate or tukang goreng.
So, please justify it concretely if I am wrong in this one.

Because they are the IMMEDIATE BENEFICIARY from higher oil prices. They can generate profit from selling oil at higher prices. But for all other O&G players, they ONLY do provide services and construction etc. So, those sort of players will ONLY come in and benefit LATER!
