Nowadays KENANGA very aggressive. They always SMS the recommended stock before market open to all their clients.

Since KENANGA give TP RM3.99, dont be surprise to see one day PUNCAK is within their SMS recommended stock.

By that time the share price of PUNCAK will gap up. In case you are not aware about this KENANGA SMS stock recommendation, you can ask any of your friends who has KENANGA account :)

Well, since the deal was inked today. I'm now eagerly waiting for those analysts from different investment banks to complete their reports.

Monday should be able to see those analyst reports with revised TP flying around. Should be from the following:
1) KENANGA [Outperformed RM3.99]
2) CIMB [Neutral RM2.71]
3) AM [Hold, RM2.92]
4) RHB-OSK [Neutral, RM2.61]

So far only KENANGA give fair price as what we expected. CIMB, AM and RHB-OSK used to give high TP, but recently revised downward due to uncertainty of the deal.

Since now all inked, Monday those analysts got a lot of story to tell. I guess all revised TP above RM3.

For your information, CIMB gives TP RM4++ before revised to RM2++

Again, you may be asking why KULIM case is different, isn't it?
Because KULIM warrant exercise price is much much higher than PAR Value of KULIM during special dividend that time. There is plenty of space for adjustment on exercise price.

So, it is case per case basis. This is one if the reason why many penny stocks will first reduce PAR value before issue rights shares with free warrant, just to fulfill "warrant exercise price cannot be lower than PAR value, and rights issue share price cannot be lower PAR value."

This is part of the deal that "force" warrant holders to convert to mother share. Why not just convert since there is nothing loss to you?

Yes, warrant exercise price will not be revised. Why? Simply because warrant's exercise cannot be lower than the PAR Value of underlying company share. You see the PUNCAK-WB exercise price is RM1.00. But PUNCAK PAR Value is also RM1.00.

Conclusion: MUST convert. But no worry, you will always be given sufficient time to do such conversion once the announcement on special dividend ex-date is out. You still have plenty of time.
