Last year agm...during smoking break vf drb t.s bold hair chairman, he reveal mualamat is willing to pare down 30% stake in bank muamalat, if the market is b to normal...ipo or merger, they r open minded as long price n value is right...seem like tis year is the right time to unlock bank muamalat investment like corwin.

Btw, after attended few agm, noticed tat drb got many top management in bold hair style...mayb they believe chinese saying tat 10 out of 9 bold hair get rich.

DRB-Hicom Bhd has withdrawn from the consortium formed to develop a large scale solar photovoltaic plant in Tanjung Malim, Perak. The other member of the consortium is Malakoff Corp Bhd.

The two consortium members have been unable to reach mutual agreement on certain terms and conditions of the joint venture, DRB-Hicom said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.

Supermax may has the lowest PE, but the big question mark is their expansion into contact lense biz, is totally different segment,different talents n different requirement...if venture to condom, will be more suitable...as condom oso in medical segment...spend huge capex for new biz n dunno how long to breakeven...

Actually during polling session, I got personally ask TS khamil, he said most probably if foreign company buying proton stake, Shah Alam plant shall b included as it is still proton assets, but he said rest assure for s.alam plant as relocation for s.alam staff to tjg malim is under planning, n for sure redevelopment plan for s.alam is in process, the blueprint now is mixed development for industrial n commercial...

@contender...u got it rite bout "substantial"...but one of the main concern for proton partner will b "cultural" consideration..I think cultural or political is very similar meaning to them...

I attended the agm...chairman khamil very firm tat Drb will definitely hold substantial share in Proton even they found partner, but based on recent persona launch n on going restructuring, he is confident next quarter proton will incur "minimal" loss.
