This may be an indication that (1) the owner has collected enough shares and (2) they have completed alluvial mining and is now ready for rock mining where the output of gold is expected to be higher. I think following Vincenbravo's strategy for Bahvest is the correct way. The owner is unpredictable and it is difficult to second guess him. When the price goes up gradually sell in 5 stages. When price falls back buy back in 5 stages. In doing so, you'll still benefit if the price suddenly reverses, up or down. Please remember the owner said that mining the gold will go on beyond his lifetime.

Best follow Vincenbravo's method of buying low and selling high and reinvesting again, he is gradually increasing his portfolio. The more volatile the share the better. As long as gold is bullish the price of Bahvest will keep on moving up. Buy low and sell high is the way. Simple. His patience will be rewarded over time.

Frankly, the owner don't give a damn what we think. To him, if we are not happy on how its run, his simple advice is, don't invest in it.

I know of a Public Sector Cooperative where a civil servant in applying for a personal loan has to obtain signed sureties from two ELIGIBLE members, which at times, can be hard to come by. I don't know whether this condition applies to all cooperatives. It seems that those running the cooperatives, who are usually ex-civil servants, tend to treat them as their own personal banks. Expect another government bailout if things get critical.
